Premium Hourglass Style Salt and Pepper Grinder Set by Simple Kitchen Products

I love the look of these and I love the size. However, they only lasted about six months before the grinding mechanism started to fall apart on the one I used for pepper. I was able to repair it, but it only lasted a few weeks before I had to repair it again - and again and again. Now it's gone beyond repair and is unusable. Disappointingly, the same thing has just started happening with the rock salt mill so I have to assume it's the grinders themselves that aren't very durable. It's a real shame as they look great and originally I had planned to buy several more pairs for other spices I regularly grind. Fishing the faulty grinder components out of my saucepan of hot stew, though, isn't something I want to have to keep doing.

They are extremely good looking and the fact that they have a lid at the top does mean that there is no spillage onto the table and the contents don't get so damp. I run a bed and breakfast and find one or two of the guests need instructions on how to work them but overall an excellent design.

Good product works well and a good price

I am very happy with these grinders. I had a set of expensive Cole & Mason before these which broke after about 3 months use. These are much better, they look and feel better and grind the salt and pepper with ease. Highly recommended.

The salt and pepper grinders are definitely good value for money. They are just right size for a dining room table and they also look great in the kItchen. The fact the grind is adjustable is a real bonus. I would recommend these grinders without the slightest hesitation.

Arrived promptly. Exactly as described and a great price for such good mills. Grind can be altered easily and the glass bases are much better than any of the vast number of plastic ones I have had previously. So good, this is the second set I have bought!

Look great and good having the caps on the top so you don't end up with bits of salt and pepper in the store cupboard.
