Is it necessary? No. Does it look good? Yes. These are just a cosmetic upgrade unlike the headband and ear pads, but still Great quality from Wicked Cushions and is no longer a finger print magnet like the stock plates. I love the 90's black and would recommend 👍.

Ordered these and loved the design. Sadly, the first set had a magnet that came out (they're glued into little slots) and I was unable to find it. I wrote an email to their support team, and they replaced it very quickly and without any charge at all to me. Hard to find a company that gives a d**** about customer support anymore, it feels like. Thanks, WC!

Look great. Feel great. First time I pulled the magnetic cover off of the USB-C side of the headset the magnet fell out of the WC cover plate. Caused some minor scratching to the Acrtis Nova Pro Wireless as I was trying to figure out why the cover wasn't fitting back correctly. The magnets appear to be adhered merely with double sided tape.

Easy to install and just adds a little different look. Great for that purpose.

Ok, I purchased the full set of products from Wicked Cushions.I would have sent the speaker plates back if not for being a niche design to complete a set.The plastic feels quality but unfortunately that is the end of the positive about this review.They very obviously HydroDip these to get the pattern on them but the manufacturer doesn't take care to avoid smudging and messing the design up. Judging from the other comments I am not the only person to have received theirs in such condition now have a plate with a random finger smudges instead of the speed racer pattern I paid for.The magnets seems sloppily inserted, not very caring of a part that undergoes daily wear and tear. This paired with them being covered in Hydro Dip remnants just overall feels very amateur and not in keeping with what I received with Wicked Cushions ear muffs and head strap replacements, those were quality material , design, and manufacturing.Wicked Cushions you want to fix your product and send me one I felt I paid for then reach out, I loved the other two products this just misses the mark BIG.**Edited because these broke the day after I reviewed them**

Good quality and perfect fit.

There is no point of comparison with the original brushed material that the stock headphones have, but it is a good replacement and combines well with the set.

I have 2 other sets of turtle beach headsets and these blow them out the water. I play call of duty and I can hear footsteps from super far away

Quality of the product is terrible / magnets nearly hold and looks unfished bunch of scratches from productionWicked cushions usually has great products but unfortunately this one isn't one of them
