Just as good as the top name brand switches!
This switch is a steal for the price and amount of ports you get! Branded switches are charging $200 or more and some of them even have less ports! I'm getting the full 2.5G bandwidth while having all 8-ports populated as well as the SFP+ 10G port. It also runs much cooler than my 10G MikroTik switch. The small form factor makes it very easy for me to place this on my cramped set up. For reliability, only time can tell. So far everything is running great! 👍

Plug & Play install, works well in mixed speed network
Upgraded a mixed network with both 1Gb & 2.5Gb systems. Systems with 2.5Gb LAN daily move very large files back & forth between production & storage server.Old 1GB switch limited transfer speeds. SODOLA switch ups speeds to 280 MB/s and more than halves transfer times.Very little slowdown with multiple simultaneous transfers.Switch case is solid metal, only gets warm under load. Dual speed leds are useful. RJ ports are tight & latch solidly.Install was literally P&P with no configuration on any network systems.Has been in constant operation for 10 days with no network issues. Long-term reliability TBD

Easy cheap outstanding managed switches. Some caveats that were solved.
Purchased 3x of these switches, from SOLDA to upgrade my home network. I got 2x 6 port with 2 SFP+ and one of the 8 port with 1 SFP+. I have most 2.5G RJ45 ports with cat5e on 2.5G and 1G. One of the switches tied into existing network that uses using 2x SFP+. It runs super cool compared to any other SFP switch I own. Overall the price is an excellent value saving me hundreds of dollars over name brand (for managed 2.5G switches). I have an existing Unifi network and didn't want to spend $200 more per 2.5G Unifi switch or wire in additional networking into my home.Speed: Iperf test TCP with 2 devices with 9k MTU on different ports in parallel for 30 seconds. 2.44Gb/s on one device, 2.46Gb/s on the other. UDP iperf tests showed 0% packet loss, 0.007ms jitter.Features: I am using the following features. All work well with minimal issues.VLANs tagged, native (PVID), and untagged. Jumbo frames at 9k. IGMP Snooping. 3x port LACP Trunk. RSTP with one SODOLA switch as root worked great and without any issues. QOS on Ports.Issues I faced:1. Admin interface was at 192.168.2.1 and I am under a different subnet. I first plugged it into my PC and setup DHCP and then moved it into desired room. One thing the interface doesn't tell you is you have to go to Tools -> Save to store settings when power cycles. Lost settings a few times before realizing it.2. My network doesn't have loops, but it went down multiple times during setup. What I found is that STP or RSTP must be enabled.3. Don't send ICMPs to the switch. I sent 9k ICMPs to test jumbo frames and every time it crashes the management interface and has to be power cycled. All issues were very minor with workarounds.

Awesome little switch!
I was a little worried about trying some of these switches as I've seen horror stories of some no names in the past. These are actually pretty great for their price. I use a few of these at home now and even purchased a big daddy 12 port version from them. All have been flawless in operation. I'll definitely be back if I need capacity.

REALLY great value
I was surprised at the value you can get here.. the 10Gb ports (SFP+) work as advertised and I get full 10Gb between the two devices as well as their ability to go downstream at 2.5Gb, performance across the board is solid. There is nothing special about this switch and it does need to be in a semi-ventilated place as it can (and does) get a bit too warm for my liking (thus the 4 stars) but for the price for what you get, it's a heck of a deal

good for the price.
This is a good a switch. One weird thing is that you have to manually save the config. Another weird seems that the management IP address can be on ANY VLAN (which is good), but it has to be untagged on a trunk port (weird). Other than that it works as expected and decent feature set.My biggest complaint is that it has different software than some of their other managed switches. This software is better and would prefer this on all of their switches.NOTE: copper SFP+ pluggable are HOT. They are hot in all switches. Try and avoid them. Use DAC cables or fiber instead.

So far, everything is great
I've had this for a little over a month at this point. So far, everything has been great. I get full 2.5gb speeds between my computers that have 2.5gb cards. The others get 1 with no issue.I've got 2gb fiber coming into the house and decided that I was going to run hardwires to each room. This allowed me to do that and have extra ports for devices in the room it's in.So far I have no complaints, at all

So far so good!
This low cost option fit the bill for my needs. I've saved the buck a few times and needed to expand my 2x 10gbe switch to support a few 2.5gbe devices. In my case I needed to convert the SFP port to RJ45 (I'm aware it's not ideal compared to fiber).Used a basic 10gb SFP to RJ45 adapter from Amazon and instantly it registered as a 10gb nic. As expected, the adapter gets as hot as the sun.As with any micro passive cooled switch, they get hot. I removed the lid (voids warranty) and have a 140mm fan in the general area to keep air moving around my other passive switch, router, etc.I can confirm the 2.5gb works great. Haven't benchmarked the 10gb SFP ports but based on the blinking lights indicating 10gb link I am hoping all is good. From some basic tests I do not have any concerns with this budget switch. As others have stated, the lights are on the bottom of the ports. A bit odd but not a huge deal.
