Well built and quality material as you would expect from this manufacturer (The wooden train set we bought for our son 30 years ago is still is in great condition and used regularly).This new building set keeps our 6 year old grandson amused for hours. Would say he is the perfect age for this product. Younger children may struggle putting the pieces together and taking them apart as they are fairly tight fitting.

Five year old grand-daughter was occupied assembling bits for hours. Have now gone all in and bought the bigger creative kit and a couple of tool-kits to contain them.Will teach the kids benifit of staying organised - hopefully!

I bought this for my 4 year old. He already has the basic set, so this is an addition so he can make more and also has the pull back motor.He loves it and enjoys using his imagination to make lots of different things.The only think I would say would be an improvement, would be if the box included clear build instructions for a couple of basic things that a child could then follow to make themselves.There aren’t any build instructions, you can just follow the picture of the built item, which can be tricky.All in all though, a great toy for imaginative play and stands the test of time.

Product looks good … will await reaction of the recipient at Christmas!The only downside was the poor delivery time which was over 8 days.

This is a great toy for a child who likes making things. Sturdy and good size. The large set has a lot of useful pieces, and is for someone who has already demonstrated a love of this range. For a child who is new to it, it is best to go for one of the smaller starter sets.

I’m a huge fan of Brio products in general and was thrilled to see this when I was looking for tools for my 2 year old. Although not all wooden, they are excellent quality, including the toolbox itself. My toddler loves it and feels so cool carrying it around. I definitely recommend buying it alongside an additional kit with more tools/parts, though, because it doesn’t contain many!

I love watching my kid express creativity using this stuff. The number of ways they find to use it and the number of things it can be is incredibly versatile. One of the premiere building toys.

A gift for my 3 year old grandson a few days ago - and he is so into this already! It will be used for years as his creativity and skills grow. His dad and mom are really into it too. Things are being made and admired. The variety of pieces, the tools, the thousands of possible projects - precisely the kind of gift I love to give. While there are suggestions and instructions for things to make, one's imagination is the only limit to what you can try to create. Within minutes we'd made a car, a windmill, and a thing that roared. LOTS of pieces in this set (271) - I popped for this larger one so he could really grow with it.

Well thought out and quality toy. My son plays with it daily and loves it.
