Great for Holding Shoe On
This adds a nice dimension to any shoe if you have trouble with them slipping off while walking-- in the winter in AZ, my feet are just simply smaller than in the hot summer months. I did not use the velcro holder though-- not needed. I was also unable to have one of the straps go behind my heel while one stays on the top of the shoe-- too tight. But they look great if both loops are around the top of the shoe and my foot so no problem.

Elastic High Heel Shoe Straps are not exactly described as in the ad.
The shoe straps are pretty and appeared from the ad like what I was looking for, however, the only part that is elastic is underneath the shoe. I was a little disappointed since I was hoping to separate the straps with one on my instep and the other around the heel. The straps do not stretch.

4.5** Hope I can break them in - Need a couple size options
I was so happy to find a simple way to add a strap to backless shoes. A late in life pregnancy left me with planter fascitis. Since dealing with the pain and restrictions of rehabing through that, I have been limited in the shoes I can wear. My podiatrist warned me about the strain flip flops, slides, open backs ect can cause as you unconciously grip the shoe while walking. I've regretted the few times I've thought 'oh I can wear these cute sandals for a short time. We'll be sitting most the time anyhow....' In an effort to keep some shoes in my closet I've looked for ways to alter them to fit more securely, but I'm no cobbler, nor seamstress. After trying to wear these open back booties the other day, I went down a google rabbithole and finally landed on these little straps to use multiple ways, without actually altering you shoe. I was all for giving them a try.The concept is simple and effective. The fit is tight when you split them to wrap over the top of the foot and the heel, like I have. I don't wear a wide shoe, I do have a higher arch than average, but I wear most normal shoe fits with no issues. These are just tight. but I have hopes that they will break in like a good shoe ;)I wore the strap on top of my foot over the shoe in hopes that it would stretch a bit and lessen the pinch. You can see from the strap accross the heel that it left its mark. After about an hour I was able to pull on them again and the bottom elastic was more pliable, taking some of the tighness from the straps. If they don't continue to loosen a bit more I will try to find a way to extend the length of the bottom elastic. They are worth keeping!

Keeps dress sandals or pumps from slipping.
I discovered the use of a similar product in Asia. If you have strapless dress sandals or pumps that slip while you are walking, you can use these to solve the problem. You simply slip them over your shoe ( like a rubber band) and slide them to about the center of the ball of your foot. If you choose something “blingy” that coordinates with the shoe they won’t look bad. I don’t use the adhesive. They cannot, however, however be used with wedges. With a full length gown or dress they would be unnoticeable and will really hold your shoes on securely.

Show strap
Looks pretty but not good at all. It is difficult to put on as advertised. seems like it may work for a child’s feet. Need to return.

Handy
These really worked out well. I had a couple of flats that weren’t really staying on my foot and with these they stayed.

Never Knew These Existed
They ended up being just what I needed for some CircaNY heels that perfectly match a dress I’m wearing to my friend’s wedding, but would have been impossible to wear as the mules they are. This gives me support and the heels no longer make a clomping noise as though I’m wearing heeled flip flops. Truly obsessed.
