Coleman Coastal Xtreme Series Marine Portable Cooler, 100 Quart , White

I recently purchased this cooler before leaving on a 6-day camping trip to Yosemite National Park. We stocked the cooler full of chicken, carne asada, and beef the Saturday night before we left. We used Dry Ice to keep the meat frozen/cold, and added a bag of regular ice on top to keep the other perishable items cold (deli meat, cheese, salsa). The meat stayed frozen solid till Wednesday, which was when the dry ice ran out. We then started adding a bag of ice each night after. We left the campground Friday morning, and brought home perishable items to our house with no problem. The cooler has a tight seal, and fit perfectly inside the bear boxes. When the cooler was completely full, it was a tad bit heavy. It took 2 people to carry it. With over a 50 lbs. of food inside, I wouldn't expect it to be light. LOVE LOVE LOVE this cooler!!!

The wife and I had second thoughts on buying this cooler, I went ahead AND PURCHASED FOR A TWO WEEK VACATION TO BARKLEY SOUND hoping it would fill the need for a on deck cooler that was able to retain ice for at least four days ? I was pleasantly surprised when it did live up to the EXTREME 5 day ice retention....actually we got more like 7 days of retention, still having a large portion of two ice blocks in the bottom floating around in super chilled water. We had high eighty degree days for almost the whole time we were in the Sound, fishing , gunk holing, beach combing and general lazy daze on vacation ! Caught salmon, lingcod, halibut, and more bottom fish that we released for the preservation of the species. I looked at about 15 different brand name cooler before choosing a the trust Coleman....hell I was going to spend at least $300 big ones for a smaller size roto molded type cooler but I am glad I saved my fund and decided on a Coleman EXTREME !! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED !!

We are happy with this cooler. Kept ice for many days and has reasonable capacity for a family of four for a weekend trip. When I purchased it, the description said that it came with one compartment divider, yet it did not. It was not a deal-breaker, but buyer beware!

I had purchased this cooler because it showed that it came with dividers and a tray when the product was delivered it had no dividers in no tray I called Amazon, Amazon was helpful they put me on a 3 way call to Coleman who sold the cooler Coleman said they do not provide the dividers in the tray there is no disclaimer that says they do not provide them they just sell the cooler. They also refuse to send me a tray and dividers for the cooler if I wanted them I would have to purchase them but right now there not available and then they disconnected from the call and left Amazon and I Together To work out the situation so when Coleman was not willing to work with the customer I decided to return the cooler and not by a colmen product.The pictures that they show when you purchase on Amazon are deceiving it's not what you get.

Bought these for a week long trek in Yellowstone to keep drinks, food and also some insulin at proper temperatures. They performed absolutely wonderfully and kept everything nice and chilly. I was actually surprised by how well it kept the ice intact given they were sitting in sun-baked SUVs through whole days of 85-90 degree weather (so the interior of the vehicle was well above the recommended optimal levels). Additional ice was of course necessary but far, far less often than any other coolers I've used in the past for similar activity, friends commented on how nice they were during the trip.A year and many uses later they are still in perfect condition and working well. Extremely happy with this cooler!

I ordered this cooler and was exited about having the dividers and shelf. When it arrived, it not only did not have these items, it seemed to be a different model all together. The logo on the front was white, not the black one in the pictures and the sticker on the front was completely different. I chatted with an amazon rep and finally they agreed to send me another one. That just arrived yesterday and is again not the correct cooler. At this point it is obvious that this items is a bait ans switch or just really bad product management. Either way, I am returning both and being done with it. I will say the cooler received was a good cooler, just not happy it was not the cooler I ordered.

I have been using this cooler for going Bass fishing in the very hot temperatures of the Venezuelan llanos. i'm pleased with it so far, its been a year since i got it. It handles ice for 4 days without opening too much at 38º C. at shadow.Came with stainless steel hinges and door holder.i'm so pleased with it that i'll be buying my second one as soon as possible.

Kept in the shade, I was able to keep food ice cold and/or frozen for 6 days! temp was about 85 during the days and 60s at night. I did use salt water bottles and blue ice, and i even had to leave the door open when i got home to melt the ice, it was still solid! Great cooler and much better than any i have every used before. Glad i spent the money!I also saw some older reviews of the item that said there was not lid strap (to prevent it from flopping all the way back on open). That is no longer the case. There is a metal cable that now that only lets you open the lid 90 degrees instead of flopping back full 180.
