A great way to display kids art
I am so glad that I bought this. I have a really small house and not a lot of area too hang anything on the walls. I ended up buying this and putting it in my son’s room and made a little corner where they can put their backpacks when they come home and hang up their artwork. It’s a great spot for them to be proud of their work and show it off, but also not so much in the main area of the house where it feels cluttered. The squares were really easy to assemble and applied to the wall. You can make any shape you want. They’ve been up for several months now and have not fallen. It’s really easy to push thumbtack into as well. I love these so much that I might also buy some for my office. They just look really clean and nice compared to a regular old corkboard.

Great aesthetics, practical, and easy
I wanted something around my dart board to protect the wall. This was a perfect solution. The tiles look very nice and happened to match nearby walls in my game room. Easy to install with good quality double sided gummy stickers. I love the color I had to cut mine to fit. It can be done with a utility blade but for those who are wondering, cutting on a table saw does work and you can add a bevel that way too. Be careful though… the saw is quick to grab the felt of you’re not too careful. I loosened my grip and the tile got ripped away but I was lucky and it didn’t pull my hand in and the damage to the tile was on the back so, ultimately no consequence.

Perfect for displaying collections - sturdy and looks great!
These cork boards were exactly what I needed for my home office! Installation was super easy and they're really sturdy - I put them on two exterior walls and they haven't moved at all since day one. The black color looks really sleek and professional, perfect for displaying my pin collection, stickers, and cards. The quality is great and the adhesive tabs are strong but won't damage your walls. I'm actually planning to buy more because they worked out so well. If you're looking for a way to display collections or organize stuff in your office, these are perfect!

Easy to hang
The tiles came beautifully boxed with tissue paper wrapping the tiles, 3 sheets of adhesives and instructions. I have seen several reviews from other brands that had complaints about using the adhesive squares. Their complaint was how difficult it was to remove the waxed paper and get them to stick to the tiles. This problem was non-existent with the adhesive squares provided by Decorita. Each adhesive square had a tab that was not on the adhesive allowing me to easily remove the wax paper. This made hanging the tiles a breeze...no frustration! I installed these tiles under cabinets. So, the tiles at the top of the two rows I installed could not accommodate a full tile. I used a box cutter to cut the top row of tiles to size and then made sure I installed the tiles so the beveled edges matched up to the first row of tiles and the cut edge was under the bottom of the cabinet. It was easy peasy. These tiles are dense and held my tacked items with ease and removing a tack didn't leave any marks on the tiles. These tiles are a better solution than cork and should last a long time. I also think paying a bit extra for the Decorita tiles was well worth the quality and ease of installation.

A Modern Bulletin Board
These Decorita Felt Wall Tiles are so nice, I bought them twice! I was so happy with the first box of tiles that after living with the board for just a few months, I decided that I needed it to be a bit bigger. So I bought a second box of felt tiles - also in Ocean Blue - and now have a board measuring 36" tall by 60" wide. (While I had planned on using the remaining nine tiles in another place, a 48" x 60" board might be needed.) I like these tiles that much. The positives are that they are a bit over 1/4" thick, and they will work with pushpins and map pins. They are sturdy - they might be described as being stiff - and the felted finish is tight and firm. They will hold up very well with heavy use, and still have a "like new" appearance. Even after being moved a few times. A couple of things to note - they're not negatives so much as FYIs. -- One - If you're thinking of cutting tiles for some purpose, know that the four edges of each tile are bevelled. The look is great - and I wouldn't change it! - but it does mean that cutting the tiles will result in an edge that doesn't match up with the rest. -- Two - Matching up the tiles so that they are tight, square and straight is iffy, at least that was the case for me. After one or two attempts, I found that using a level to place the first tile, then using a level and eye-balling it a bit on subsequent tiles resulted in square corner junctions, and a finished board that had straight edges, and was straight on the wall. -- Three - Each box comes with sixty mounting squares, enough for fifteen tiles. The instructions state the adhesive squares can be removed without damage to the wall. That is true... mostly. During the original hanging, and then when I moved the tiles to make a larger board, several mounting squares removed a little bit of paint, and even some plaster, during removal. This wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but it could be an issue for some, so just saying... -- Four - While the box includes enough for fifteen tiles - the twelve in the box, and extras - being able to purchase a package of additional mounting squares would be a terrific option for those of us that might want to change things up a bit. Even a recommendation for a readily available alternative would be appreciated. **Update: I tried some mounting squares by 3M and they were crap. They didn’t work and the tiles fell off the wall an hour after being mounted. -- Five - if you would like to get in touch with the company, or find out where the tiles were made, good luck. There is no information in the box, or on the box, that makes it possible to contact the company, or even to identify their name. Country of origin? Again, good luck finding out. These tiles are a colorful or subtle way to create a bulletin / inspiration / memory board for any space, be in an office, studio, kitchen or kid-space. If I had the space, I think I would do an entire wall... probably using two colors for a checkerboard look. Yes, I like these Decorita tiles that much.

Would recommend
Design is nice and it was easy to install, but to guarantee easy removal without damage to my wall I used command strips instead of what was shipped with the product because I read too many reviews where the buyer had issues with this. The product is not quite what I expected which was a “felt” surface that feels like the felt fabric in hobby stores. It is denser than that and for my purposes as a quilting design wall I will need to cover it with a flannel fabric. Still, I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

Fantastic for enamel pins!
I found this while searching for large cork boards for displaying my enamel pin collection, and I'm very glad I went with this instead of cork! The adhesive holds up very well to even the appreciable weight of dozens of metal pins; I bought mine just over a year ago and they've stayed in place perfectly, rock-solid. They don't attract dust, they don't produce mess when moving things around, and the fact that they're just under 1' square means that they fit perfectly in the space I picked out for them. They're also just a really attractive way to display the collection! Absolutely worth it, great purchase, highly recommended for any pin collector! [ed. typo]

Good quality
Great product. Take care peeling off the backing as the adhesive will pull off the felt with the backing.

Great product so far. Looks lovely.
I have been looking to replace a cork board with a bigger cork board but they were all so expensive. So I decided to try these instead. I was concerned about how well they’d stick to a plaster wall but so far so good. Works great. They went up easily. I used regular thumbtacks and pins to secure photos and posters to the tiles. I did reposition one tile and there was no damage to the wall but I will update this review in the future.
