Wii AC Adapter/NTSC

My Wii stopped working after a lighting strike on my home. Insurance covered a new Wii but I decided not to buy one. After a few months I figured I would buy a power cord (the price on Amazon was very good) and it worked!We don't use the Wii much, but now the Amazon Prime streaming is available we use it on a spare TV for our 2 year old and it gets a regular workout. No issues at all with the power cord. It fit just like OEM and works.

This was a good buy. The WII has been on non-stop since it came in the mail. It's held up so far.

I bought this for and great price and it did the job for about a year then quit. Guess can't complain for the price.

That simple. It was not as easy as the actual Wii cable to plug in, but it isn't difficult either. And it works. I've had the cable for 3 months and have had no issue.

Decent quality. It sure beats buying a whole new Wii.

I never recieved my package. Dont know what happened but my wii game is still not being used because the piece ordered never came.

Well, I squee'd with joy when both this and the other item I bought from a different place arrived at the same time. Happiness was short lived once I pulled the adapter out however. I'd heard(Apparently Wrongly) that Wii plugs also work for a Wii U as it uses the same type. How unfortunate for me that this was NOT the case at all and to rub salt in the wound the plug has "Nintendo" plastered on it as if to mock me for trying to cheaply spend my little money.Don't like it, cause I can't use it. Not much else to say, can't really say good things about something I can't properly test. I suppose it was stupid on my part for doing research but just a bit UNDER enough to learn that Wii and Wii U power adapters don't mix.A warning I guess, if you're trying to get one of these for use with a Wii U...Don't.If by chance someone did get one of these and it went to their Wii U. How in the bloody blue hellicopter blades did mine come reversed...system is USA doesn't that automatically make it NTSC? Well this is a review not a Q&A board, so I'll leave it at that.

The product works as described and is an equivalent replacement for the original. No defects in workmanship or any other flaws have been observed.
