My original pump on my heater was clicking loudly for a while the a E08 warning kept coming up after using the heater for approximately an hour. Replaced the pump with this new one and no error codes and can’t even hear this one working at all, easy to fit too.

Works well and is easy to fit

So the original heating system was new around the end of 2022 and all was fine right through the winter. After a period of inactivity during the summer when I came to test it it refused to start up and was showing error code 8. After a couple of days testing and trying things I diagnosed the pump was at fault so ordered 3 of these.It seemed like an exact replacement and initially worked fine. Prior to installing I tested the fuel flow and it seemed good however after one use it failed. fortunately I had bought 3 thinking I would build up a stock of spare parts so I installed another pump and returned the first one for a refund. The second pump failed after the same amount of time but unfortunately the returns window had closed. I tried again with the third and last pump and again it failed after the first use. Just to rule out the heater unit as being faulty I had a brand new complete heater unit still boxed (minus the pump which had been used on the first heater) so I installed this with the third pump. I had great difficulty priming the system and again I got one use out of it . Just to add all the fuel pipe was replaced and the fuel filter removed on the off chance that was causing a restriction . I have now ordered a more expensive pump (£28.99) with a built in filter and a slightly higher output/capacity of 28ml as opposed to 22ml.

Arrived promptly and used as replacement for the original. Works exactly as it should.

Great

The value of this is so good (£14) at the time of review thhat I would happily install it just to see how long it lasts. However, it is hard to assess the quality and I think I'd be concerned that I might just be replacing it again soon. I'm not sure I can be bothered with the hassle of this.
