I have three doors side by side - for the office, the basement, and the garage. I cannot tell you how many times guests have accidentally opened the basement door thinking that they are entering the bathroom. I have absent mindedly done it myself and caught myself from tumbling down the stairs. I did not know that these child safety knobs existed until my grandson arrived. I purchased it to protect him from entering the basement, but I see that there is the bonus that it also alerts adults that there is something different about this particular door. I am very pleased with my purchase.

My toddler cannot open the door with this product. It was easy to install, tow pieces clip together over the door handle. The package came with 5 each and enough for what I needed. They are easy to remove once it is not needed. Highly recommend this product.

Great for keeping toddler out of making a mess in the pantry or opening the front door.

Easy to use product, great for its price

We’ve been using this for 5 months so far and it’s still a go. My son is 2.5 and can’t get out of the door if these are on the knob. The only thing is I will not put it on or take it off in front of him because I’m sure he will figure out the trick. And he looooves figuring stuff out, little crafty self. I saw him holding the pieces about to put them together and I took them from him. They work great for our purposes and are easy to remove. Found some at dollar tree that work too but can’t remove the suckers to save my life.

This product did exactly what it was designed to do. It keeps my wife safe from wandering off outside of our home in the middle of the night while I am sleeping. What I found after installing the childproof safety covers was it was a little difficult for me to open the door. Our doorknobs are really smooth and it made it difficult to turn with the Doorknob safety cover on. ( I am 76 and my wife is 75. We both do not have the finger strength we did when we were younger.) So to fix this I added a piece of a tape with a rough surface to my doorknob so my finger and thumb could easily grasp the knob without slipping but still required a lot of pressure to turn the knob. My wife's finger strength is not strong enough to turn the knob so the doorknob safety cover works as designed not only for a child but also for an adult with a mental condition such as my wife to keep her safely indoors. I now sleep a little stressless now.

These are very efficient to use. We bought a pack and they have worked very well, until we moved and tried to put them on new doorknobs. They snapped on but fall off very easily. Other than that I have no complaints! (3 kids under 3 have played heavily on them and they held up for me!)

Purchased these after the escape of a senior. His first time to hit the road. By the time I missed him, he was about a half mile away and had crossed a busy road. Talk about PTSD, I have it now. A bit afraid to even go out back to mow because I have NO idea why he let himself out and he would be unable to give an explanation if asked. With these on the front door, a dead bolt and a locked knob.... I have high hopes that this would prevent another walk out by the senior. I have to work at opening it .... so I think I may have prevented another life changing event.
