I have tried a few other post drinking recovery drinks but most of the ones I have tried were either in pill form or a mix that you had to add to another liquid. Most of them also have a pretty gross medicinal taste. Although these are a little pricey they are a nice portion size and I like that they are already pre-mixed and ready to drink. I usually buy things like this for weddings or events and am drinking them in a hotel room so it's nice not to have to deal with using a separate container and mixing things. Also, this is the first fizzy one I have come across and not only does this help cover any medicinal flavor from the vitamins but it helps if you have any nauseousness. I really like the flavor of these and I think the carbonation helps with that a lot. And lastly, I love the fact that it's not loaded with sugar so my keto husband can drink them. Each can is only 10 calories which is awesome!

I drank a moderate amount of alcohol (beer only) and, for curiosity's sake, I drank this to see if it would prevent any hangover and leave me feeling great the next morning. First, it tastes pretty awful, orange-y and metallic. Drank the whole can and within 45 minutes I was very ill with severe lethargy/fatigue followed by nausea. Spent the night on the bathroom floor with severe nausea, vomiting, violent shaking chills, muscle spasms. It was so bad my husband called poison control. Based on the ingredients on the can poison control didn't think it should be causing my pretty extreme reaction, which leads me to be almost 100% certain that what it says on the can is not actually what is in it. I had numbness and tingling in my arms and eventually in my legs as well. After more than 10 hours when I was no better I went to the ER because I was truly afraid I had poisoned myself and might be sustaining some kidney or liver or damage. Luckily all my labs were normal so no permanent damage done but I felt rotten for nearly 24 hours and that was AFTER treatment in the ER. DO NOT BUY THIS AND IF YOU HAVE MADE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING IT LIKE I DID, DO NOT DRINK IT. This should be off the market. I was scared of what I had done to myself and that was with my husband taking care of me. Had I been alone, I would have called the squad.

I put it to the test over Memorial Day weekend. Some of the other reviews I read were correct. Think of it as a health drink. While the taste was not my favorite, I did drink it ice cold. Recovery was quick and I was in great shape next day.

Mother of Jesus…. I will change this if needed. I drank this 20 mins ago and feel like I have the full on flu. Instantly felt like puking. Stomache expanded massively. I need everything inside of me, out. I think I’m dying. Let’s see how this plays out. Did not expect this.UPDATE: Man, that was rough. I was slightly buzzed when I drank this, and buddy, did it rock my world. It felt like it took a normal hangover and pressed fast forward (but making it intenser). Sweat poured out of everything.... it was not a pleasant experience. When I came to, I dont know if it did anything for the booze, or I just felt better because I wasnt terrified of pooping myself. Who knows. BUT, I did get a breathalyzer to test it out next time. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend you do NOT drink this around other people. Unless you want them to see you potentially poop yourself. I will update this again after my second usage. Current rating- 1 star

My husband and I have used Safety Shot many times and we are very impressed! Admittedly we were skeptical of a product that claimed to reduce the effects of alcohol and just make you feel better. We have put Safety Shot to the test and can report all positive results, We have split a can after Sunday brunches after drinking many mimosas. Normally after having several mimosas early in the day we will be tired and not do much other then lay on the couch and watch TV. Now with Safety Shot and within a short period of time we can enjoy our Sunday brunches without the tiredness or other effects that we would experience. New now have our Sunday brunches and get to have a productive rest of the day.We see some of the other reviews where the product upset their stomach or made them nauseous. We have not experienced those issues. We have introduced Safety Shot to all of our friends and everyone has reported positive results and no adverse side effects. My husband also will drink a can of Safety Shot at different times of the day just to drink it. Each time he has experienced more energy and overall just feels good after drinking Safety Shot. We have not tested with a breathalyzer yet as we both always feel better and more alert after consuming. We can without any reservation confirm that Safety Shot is the real deal and a product that anyone (drinkers and non-drinkers) can use and experience positive results. We definitely would recommend Safety Shot to anyone that just wants to feel better!
