Everything is excellent about this deal and has features that exceed many competitors more expensive models. I only have three minor issues with the kit. 1) I wish the kit included a plug-in wall charger and not just the data / charging cable. 2) I wish it came with a spare lens cover and the reset tool like many of the other lesser kits they sell come with, and finally 3) The picture quality is excellent, but I wish the focal length could be both closer and slightly further, but when within the focal range the picture quality is excellent. This kit and model has many advantages you usually pay much more for. 1) A GREAT case to keep everything safe and secure in. 2) A strong pistol grip handle that has a built-in flashlight makes the unit easy to use and control. 3) The push button controls are well laid-out and intuitive to use with a nice large, bright clear image. You will not be disappointed with this ruggedly built, well thought-out unit!

The media could not be loaded.  This is the BEST Borescope I've ever used. The DEPSTECH DS580 has a SUPER sharp 5.0MP picture, and I like that the unit is "Self Contained" with a handle on it. VERY handy and easiest to use out of ALL of the borescopes I have (I have 3 others). I wasn't so sure about the handle, but it is definitely a PLUS having the handle so you can steady the head/screen unit. The extra light included in the head unit (shown in the ON position in one picture) will also come in handy being able to "spot" the location (usually a hole) where you want to insert the camera. Super nice water proof carrying case to protect your investment is also the sign of a quality built unit that will serve you for years to come. Packaged nicely and with handy "screw on" hook and magnet attachments that attach to the end of the camera make this a well rounded borescope package. The clarity of the picture is truly amazing compared to the other borescopes I have. The ability to record video's as well as single shots pictures and the 10' long camera cord is about right for what I would typically use it for. I also like the design of the camera cable on this one a little better than others. It is stiff so it will retain shape, but easier to form into the shape you want than others I've had. Overall, I really rate this one a 10 out of 10. DEPSTECH nailed the design on this one. BRAVO!!!

The media could not be loaded.  DEPSTECH did it AGAIN, but even better! - Previously I reviewed the 300-350 variants which have been great. But this took it to an even more solid and premium level. The grip is so natural to use. The cord (snake) is even more rigid. It still boasts 2 camera lens capable of 5MP images and 3k resolution video. But wait, the trigger is an extremely bright LED, the 32GB TF card is included AND installed. It comes with the magnet and hook accessory as expected, but the case is super strong and the fit and finish is quite impressive. I use endoscopes as a home DIYer (think tracing home wiring, drain issues, etc.) But I got an idea.....the resolution is amazing. The lens' focal length makes it wonderful for macro photography and get this, you could leverage it without having to "sneak" up on your macro shots as it is a tiny camera snake capable of auto-focus at 1cm range. Wife will be well pleased with that feature. Great work!

This is a very heavy duty borescope. I like that the screen is bright and clear, and that the built-in handle makes it easy to operate for the most part. The camera is on a very long cable, which is well-made if not a bit stiff. I found the controls a little awkward as a left-handed person, but I got over it. The main things that I didn’t realize I would need, is auto focus. I suppose at this price point I can’t complain, but with such a narrow focus range it can be difficult to get sharp images captured With they fix focus lines. Other than that, I can easily recommend this scope.

The media could not be loaded.  s a high quality endoscope. The picture quality is excellent. It has a forward facing lighted camera on the cable and can also be switched to a side camera. It’s very easy to operate and totally self contained. No apps or cellphone necessary. It’s come with a high quality hard case to protect it during transport. It also has a flashlight on the control head. It will take still photos or video. Overall I couldn’t be happier. If you want high quality the Depstech DS 580 endoscope hits the mark. I’d give it a 10 out of 10 rating. It also comes with hook and magnet attachments, which are handy to retrieve items that are out of reach. The big plus is that being self contained you won’t have to worry about it being outdated and obsolete as the wifi units can become.

This is my 4th Depstech device, my first being a Wi-Fi version that uses your phone as a screen and then two that have a built-in screen. The 4th one was a gift for a friend with a new home. This model has the best quality and highest resolution screen and the trigger grip handle. The handle is helpful, especially when you are using your other hand to feed the camera. I used this recently to replace some wires at a friends house and the camera was helpful in seeing where the wire runs went in the walls.Pros:1. high quality screen2. long camera wire3. camera wire is metal and easy to bend4. sturdy carrying caseThings to think about:1. the camera diameter is larger than some of the lower price/quality cameras so make sure that this diameter works for your use case or get one of the other units.2. The camera wire is quite long. It can be a little annoying at times, but not a deal breaker.I would buy again.

This borescope is pretty amazing. Picture quality is excellent and it is small enough to get into most places. I use it primarily for engine work and inspection and for finding that nut that got away in the engine bay :-)

Cette caméra endoscopique est un excellent produit bien fini, fabriqué à partir d’éléments de qualité et fort bien assemblée.La poignée, revêtue en parie supérieure d’une matière assurant un grip parfait, permet une prise en main sûre même avec les mains mouillées.Les boutons sont bien placés et toutes les fonctionnalités sont accessibles d’une seule main.Le câble fourni est très qualitatif et résistant, digne d’une série professionnelle. Il est bien rigide et permet à la tête de se déplacer aisément dans les canalisations. Sa structure lui permet de s’adapter au relief dans lequel il évoluera sans lui donner pour autant la possibilité de se replier sur lui-même comme sur d’autre endoscopes plus bas de gamme.On regrettera néanmoins qu’il ne mesure que 3.0m, ce qui peut être un peu juste dans certains cas. La présence d’un connecteur à vis vous garantira que le câble ne se débranchera pas en cours d’utilisation.Voici quelques données techniques qui me semblent manquantes dans le descriptif du produit ou même absente du site web du constructeur.La caméra pèse 445g et la caméra avec son câble 511g, soit un ensemble de 956g. L’écran est de bonne qualité avec un excellent angle de vue mais pas assez lumineux à mon goût pour permettre une utilisation sereine en extérieur.L’autonomie du produit est bonne et m’a permis une utilisation continue de 4h00 avec luminosité de l’écran et de la caméra à fond sans aucun problème.La tête endoscopique est d’un diamètre de 9mm par 38mm de long et dispose de deux caméras. Contrairement à d’autres modèles de la marque, il n’est pas possible de visualiser les deux flux vidéos simultanément, c’est un peu dommage. Le retour vidéo temps réel est fluide.La caméra frontale est dotée d’un capteur de 5MP produisant des photos et vidéos d’une résolution de 2560x1920. La caméra latérale ne dispose que d’un capteur de 2MP et produit des photos et vidéos de 1920x1080. A noter que les vidéos produites sont à 20FPS et saccadent donc un peu.La plage de netteté optimale se situe dans la fourchette 3cm à 6cm, ce qui peut s'avérer juste dans certains cas...Une carte SD de 32Go classe 10 est fournie dans le kit, ainsi qu'un câble USB-C pour la recharge et le transfert des photos/vidéos, deux embouts accessoires et un manuel multi-langues avec une partie en français lisibles.L’éclairage est assuré par 8 leds 1205 en frontale et 1 led 3020 en latéral qui s’activent automatiquement en fonction de la caméra sélectionnée. 3 puissances d’éclairage sont disponibles avec la possibilité de les éteindre.La tête métallique dissipe parfait la chaleur générée par les leds, évitant toute surchauffe.Un éclairage est également disponible sur le « pistolet » et est activable via une gâchette. Cette lame supplémentaire fonctionne même si l’écran de l’endoscope est éteint.L'ensemble arrive dans une valise durcie de bonne facture et équipée de mousses qui maintiennent en position les divers éléments et protège bien l'ensemble de tous chocs extérieurs.En résumé, un produit a conseillé sans aucun doute.

Picture quality is simply amazing. No issues using this endoscope whatsoever. I keep finding more and more uses for this camera. Highly recommend this unit.
