Wonderful customer service.
I have two windows laptops that I use with one monitor and keyboard. Initially I couldn’t get the display to be consistent. I left a 3 star review because the keyboard and mouse switched just fine, just not video. .Within 24 hours I had a message from the company offering a replacement which I accepted. The new one works just as it should with the exception that I still can’t seem to transmit hdmi sound which may just be a setting somewhere. I don’t really need that anyway. I’m very happy with the product and especially grateful for a company with such good customer service.

Stopped working after 1 Month
Used this for one month and it stopped working - right after I would have been able to return. I had it set up correctly, used it as specified, but it's just another piece of junk made in China. Do yourself a favor and buy a nice one.

Product not supporting LAN internet connection when swapping laptop
The product works for swapping all functions for the two laptops except the LAN/internet connection, which sadly makes it useless. I am connecting two laptops to the device, which is then connected to a docking station that further connects monitors, webcams, microphones, a keyboard, a printer, and LAN/internet. When switching using the device, the laptop switched to will not get LAN/internet, nor will the first laptop if switched back. I wish it worked.

Useful USB-C switch that performs as described
This Unitek brand switch worked for me as a way to turn off my audio interface when I am not using it with my guitar. I like my M-audio brand audio interface (a great value!), and I I use it a lot. But, I did not want to wear out its (single) USB port by constantly plugging and unplugging a cable in order to power it on and off. This Unitek switch is also very useful for switching between my laptop and desktop Windows computers, which are both now connected to my audio interface {through my new switch).Sometimes I'll need to take use laptop elsewhere, and the USB-C audio interface easily reconnects my audio interface (and my guitar) to my desktop, with the press of a button. So I can keep on jamming. The added convenience works for me.I didn't hook up a camera (or a monitor) with this switch, although I suspect either would have worked just fine. I also did not notice any "sleep mode" which is probably a good thing in my instance, because I would not want this thing to "go to sleep" while I am in the middle of playing a song on my guitar. On the other hand, I wanted to be able to power my USB-C audio interface on and off, and I am able to do that now with my new Unitek switch. This device will hook up two USB devices to one computer, allowing you to switch between them, but with this switch, you can only use one of the USB-C devices at a time. You won't be able to use both of your USB-C devices simultaneously, just so you know.I used this handy switch going the other direction, to switch between two different computers using the same USB-C device (an M-Audio 192/6 audio interface). And I couldn't be happier! My Unitek switch set up in a snap, and continues to function flawlessly. I found it intuitive and easy to understand how to use it, and it is solidly built. While there are many things that could go have gone wrong while using this switch, my experience has been excellent. I highly recommend this device for your USB-C connectivity needs.

Works, but not well
I wanted this to work, but sadly its not good enough. The good:- it WILL connect (2) separate laptops via USB-C to a single Docking station.- It comes with most of the cables you need. The Bad:- if you are using this to connect a single source to (2) laptops you will most likely need a female\female USB C coupler. The input side of the device is male, the output of my dock is also male.- There is something wrong with the transfer rate. When connected to either laptop all functions work but any audio you play has static and popping, almost the same sound when there is a bandwidth problem.I tested both of the USB-C cables and the couplers I bought with my docking station to remove the switch as a possible cause. No issues with either cable or coupler. Once the device is hooked up and is displaying it has the audio issues. This may be good if you are just swapping a single monitor with a couple of peripherals but certainly NOT robust enough for a work/home switch with multiple devices. My Setup:(2) laptops with USB-C input(1) Dell Docking Station (D6000)(3) LCD monitors @ 1920x1080(1) Keyboard(1) Mouse(1) Webcam @4k(1) USB96 Audio Interface(1) Arctis Control deck for wireless headset

A great USB-C switcher
I am currently using this at work, so I am unable to take photos of it.But it is a very useful device. I have a generic USB-C docking station that I use to hook my company laptop to a 1080P monitor through HDMI and USB for keyboard/mouse/flash drives or whatever. How I use this device is I haver it so I can switch between my laptop and my phone, which fires up Samsung Dex on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It works great! One word of warning. I had an issue with one of the cables though. IU had to switch to a different USB-C to USB-C cable that I had to make it work reliably. I am not sure why, but just wanted to pass along my experience. TH screen would flash and never really settle down. At first I thought the unit was defective., but it works perfectly after changing that cable over. For value, I would say this is worth the $46 they are asking for this at the time of my review. I use it every day and I am super happy I have it. I can now watch YouTube videos on a big screen at work!

Deceptive product description. Requires power cable in addition to display connections. Very annoying. Not the clean look pictured. Requires extra cable and available outlet or USB port from PC to provide power.
