Alfa Romeo Giulia-Spider Owners Workshop Manual 1962-1978

I found several sections of this book to apply perfectly well to my 1988 Spider. The detailed mechanical sections pertaining to the gearbox surpassed the Factory Workshop Manual's dis-assembly and re-assembly instructions. A "must-have" for the DIY or shade tree mechanic that wants to maintain his own Alfa Romeo Spider, including several features of models much later than the 1978 specified contents.

I bought this book because I had run out of options to get a copy of the U.S. market 1973 2000 gtv electrical system diagram. I was pleased to see that it does indeed include the diagram. Money well spent for me. I did not really read the rest of the book in detail since I have all of the other info from other books but based on just paging through it, it seems to be very complete.

Not as good as some repair manuals. No torque specs. Other items missing. But good for a Alfa manual, as I find Alfa info hard to come by.

Good basic manual. Not as comprehensive as some of my others I use for other vintage cars, but has gotten me through several decent repairs.

the shop manual is much better - more detail and clearer diagrams can be found elsewhere.spend the extra money on the SPICA manual and the shop manual.

I needed the specs for rebuilding the head on a 1300 GT. The dimensions for the valves, guides, tappets and springs are there. Many other specs too, for 1300, 1600, 1750 and 2000.
