Depstech Customer Care came Through
Zoom is jerky, not a smooth action but at least it does offer 3 additional magnifications, zoom between these levels is a bit of a stretch. The volume level is poor. This is my second purchase from this company, my first they did offer some help, but it was always through email and one suggestion at a time, then a week later another thought. They gave up after a couple of weeks and I think this will be the same case. It has improved the level somewhat if you have the mic pointing directly at the speaker and no greater distance between the speaker and the mic of 20 inches. Mine is currently set at 16 inches and those on my Zoom sessions say it is acceptable. But for the money I'd look elsewhere. Of course, customer care may contact me and if they do and they find a solution I'll update this review if possible.7/3/24 Customer Service has contacted me and offered a replacement to this camera. I have accepted this offer and awaiting its arrival.Replacement Camera did arrive about 10 days later. No communication from them made the wait time a little troublesome but when it arrived, they did offer an explanation for the lack of communication. The replacement camera works very well better than the first, the mic is also good, works as expected and now I can be picked up from the other side of the room (about 20 feet) which is a vast improvement. All is now in good order, and I'm pleased with the customer service, in my experience if something is not to your liking let them know I'm willing to bet they'll fix it. I'll be using them again for other items I feel I can trust them.

Good Quality Camera
I Purchased this for my work as i do several video calls a month to my clients. This has a nice crisp display and the sound quality is superb. it was easy to set up and use along with my video program and has 2 options for mounting. either on your screen or via the mini tripod. I will attempt to connect this to a 55" monitor in the very near future for conference calls and will use the tripod as well. The convenience of the remote was nice to make the needed adjustments to zone in on sound and picture. Overall, if you use video calls often, this is a worthy purchase.

Plug and play
This webcam has a number of useful features and thus far I have not had any issues using it. The tripod is basic but is stable and does the job. I like the fact that the webcam is plug and play, as I'm restricted from installing software on my work computer. The cable is sufficiently long for my applications (approx. 70"). Decals are included but are not very useful if the lens cover is installed. Picture is ok, but as others have noted, it can be a bit washed out. Much better with good light and can be improved using controls on the remote. Compared to my current set up, which lacks a tripod and is glitchy with some applications, this webcam is a huge improvement.

Actually a really good camera. I was supprosed at the resolution!!
I needed an upgrade form my laptop camera and got a cheap one that was rated high and 1080p. I used it for a while thinking it is what a good one should look like. I now need to interview and noticed every ones camera was nicer then mine. After hooking this up I have to make sure I shaved. It is amazing. I just plugged it in and my Windows 10 and Windows 11 boxes recognized it right away. Drivers automatically installed and done! I use it on Teams without any problems.

No/Low Light... No Problem!
One of the biggest issues I've had with web cams is if my background has no/low lighting, it would look like I'm in a cave. This webcam does the trick! I have calls sometimes between 4 & 7 AM as well as 10 PM to 1 AM the next day and I don't like having a ton of lights on. What a game changer!I looked at many other products by Rayzer, Logitech and others but this cam for the price and delivery takes the cake!I came from using my iPhone as a camera (wired and non-wired), as much as I love the clarity of the iPhone sometimes the connectivity and activity while I'm on calls just makes it a bad experience. In summary, this is a great product and I have no complaints. Setup was easy (plug and play), comes with a privacy window (you can always just disconnect from USB), tripod is sturdy and extends to a good height, the camera itself has the ability to be swivel and turn so set your tripod and adjust the camera itself to get a good position.I'm not sure if the clarity is 4k, but it was clear enough for me and the people I chatted with.

Good camera, but if you lose the remote, you're SOL
This is a good quality camera, and works well, but the frustrating thing about it is that it seems to auto-focus all the time, and you can;'t turn off that setting unless you have the remote. So if you lose the remote (like I did), you can't turn that feature off. It's pretty much plug-and-play, and you can adjust a whole slew of settings via the remote, but if you don't have it, you're SOL.

At last, a webcam for my Mac Mini
With an upcoming Zoom project, I needed a webcam for my Mac Mini. After looking at several less expensive units, I selected the DEPSTECH 4K Webcam. I have previous experience with the DEPSTECH endoscope, and know it to be a quality instrument.I am not disappointed. The image is excellent, as is the audio. It comes with a remote to make adjustments to image size (soon), color, saturation. Auto-focus works smoothly. The webcam also comes with a nice tripod, metal - not plastic. After trying the webcam on the tripod and on top of my monitor, I found it convenient to just set it on my desk in front of the monitor.Although it is more expensive than most of the other offerings, you of get what you pay for.Buy this one - you won't be disappointed.

Horrible Failure
After 6 months of thinking MS Team was responsible for the occasional muting of my microphone, I finally figured out that my Depstech was to blame. I could have switched my mic back to the pc, but then my camera started creating a black halo effect around my head. Not very professional looking when you are in a virtual room with executives. Stuff happens, but to have both features fail is a complete breakdown.
