The right stuff
Considering the price of a pre-made Styrofoam hot wire. This is an absolute bargain. This IS the same metal and gauge as the pre-made ones. Make a loop in on end, cut a length slightly longer than required. make a loop in the free end and you're golden.Caution:- There is load on the reel and its tightly wound. If you let go of the free end it will ping away into a mess. Use a piece of tape or poke the wire in to the rubber reel to secure it.
