Worked for a few months, but now the dogs just bark right through it. Changed the battery and tested it out, but they have become desensitized to it.

Doesn't seem to help. I finally hung it next to back door. May help a little but battery doesn't last long.

My neighbors have 3 little dogs that bark relentlessly when they are outside. We have had to keep our doors and windows closed for years even when it's nice outside because it's so annoying. I put off buying one of these because I honestly didn't think it would work. I finally gave in and gave it a try. Wish I would have done it sooner. I set it on the highest setting and I hung it from a tree as close to their yard as I could, but probably still close to the max range of 50'. The first time they came out, I heard a couple barks and then silence. Unbelievable.I have heard them a couple times in the past few days since I hung it when something really sets them off but nothing like it was before. I would definitely recommend this product. We finally have some peace and quiet.

I really wish I could write a good review here. I was very hopeful when reading the other reviews. I just had new neighbors move in that also have two dogs and my dogs have been very yappy. So I purchased this in hopes to give us both a break. I have Puggles. They do notice the unit giving off an unpleasant sound but even on high mode, it didn’t deter them from barking. Neither one. I wouldn’t say it is absolutely not effective at all but for us, it is hardly effective. They bark, pause to look at the unit and hesitantly continue barking. Maybe using this unit with something else will help.

Well I DO love it however, one of the three dogs I wanted this to get them to stop barking at every person who walks by..got used to it very quickly and it doesn't affect him all of the time. One of our dogs doesn't even want to come outside because it bothers her. I would buy it again though. Am thinking if I turn it off for a while then perhaps my biggest barker who got used to it will be affected by it again.

I bought this almost a month ago and I have to say, it doesn't work at all for my 6 month old GSD. I tried waiting the 2 weeks like instructions says for it to lessen or become non existent but he still goes full force like nothing is out there. I have even put it at the full length and still nothing. Wasted money for a yard decoration. Very disappointed.

I purchased this anti-barking dog device to deal with my neighbor's never ending dogs' barking. She owns two little dogs, you know the kind that will bark at anything and everything 24/7. I enjoy reading books and meditating in my garden when the weather is nice, but whenever those two little creatures are outside I can hardly move an eyelid without having them bark at me for half an hour non stop.After talking to my neighbor and not noticing any difference whatsoever, I decided to take the matter into my own hands. Getting this was one of the best decisions I made for my peace of mind. Since turning this cute little house on, the barking has ceased pretty much immediately. I do hear a couple barks at first but I guess the house detects it and immediately resolves it by emitting those ultrasounds that stop the dogs from barking.Then I have a little smile on my face when I hear them suddenly stop while I continue my reading or meditation uninterrupted. Of course, my neighbor is clueless, but I am sure she also enjoys this newfound tranquility. And so do our other neighbors. I love this thing!

I have two dogs different breeds which are unknown since they were rescues. It seemed to work on one dog somewhat but not at all on the other and definitely not on my neighbors dogs. We have a very small yard with 3 neighbors who have dogs which they kept barking. After a few weeks my dogs got use to it and it didn't deter them at all from barking anymore which is quit the opposite of what it said it should do. This was even with us trying to correct the barking with other training methods while using the bark control house. We will have to try something else.
