We're in reno mode and our kitchen range had to be relocated necessitating a 4 conductor 250VAC/50Amp Wall Receptacle so as to meet the Fire Code. Great kit for installing 240 welder plug. comes with everything and instructions are simple. Please follow all electrical codes when working with 240 as its not forgiving.

I used this to add an outside outlet for welders, etc. I have only used it a couple of time. I should not call it a "Heavy Duty" outlet but is not junk. It installed as expected and has worked fine the couple of time I have used it. If I were going to be plugging things into it every day i would likely look for a more robust outlet, but for my occasion use I think it will be fine.

Electrician said this outlet might heat up because of high demand of current for the EV. He recommended a much more expensive outlet but after almost 6 months this outlet has worked perfectly and has shown no heat build up. Don't be afraid of saving money because it works great.
