use this in my office and living room. very absorbent compared to all others we've had in the past.Others with a wood base and corked, didn't last before the core delaminated.Some became very moldy quickly, and always let some moisture through to the table below.Other stuck to the bottom of the cup when wet..So far nothing bad happening with these, table also dry.Can't delaminate.Becoming moldy ?? We'll have to wait and see.So far looking very clean.
