I am a newly converted Birkenstock fanatic! We have lived in Germany the past three years and I panicked that I had been here all this time, and now we are getting ready to leave to come back home to the States, and had not tried Birkenstocks! Once I did though, I was hooked! I went from Birkless to having multiple pairs (ashamed to admit it: FOUR). I love all the support Birkenstock offers. I've never felt anything like it. It is like a hug for your feet! I recently purchased these silver mayari from amazon at an awesome price. I can wear these all day, doing all kinds of activities, with no pain in my feet or in my lower back as I usually get. The mayari style is amazing because it offers you two places to customize the fit. I LOVE the birko-flor material as the inside is so soft and comfortable. I have had no problems with chafing or blisters. Also, the footbed is surprisingly flexible to make for great walking. Like I said: a hug for your feet! You won't be sorry!

I've had a pair of soft footbed Arizona Birkenstocks for the last 5 years. I felt like they lost their arch support over time so I purchased these- what a great buy!!! I was hesitant to purchase new Birks with a hard footbed, since I thought that they would be less comfortable and conform less to my feet. From the moment I put these on, it was like walking on air- I find them even more comfortable than the soft footbed since this one seems to have better arch support. They broke in very quickly (less than a day, if at all) and fit perfectly. I had a tendency to shuffle in the other Birkenstock styles because they slid off my feet when I walked, but these make me walk much better since the loop around the big toe keeps the shoe on my foot. I love these sandals! I normally wear a 8.5/9 and ordered a 40 Narrow in these. 39 was slightly too short and my toes rubbed against the inner edge.

Great fit for people with normal-high arches, great for walking all day, a bit narrow but once they're broken in they'll be your favorite sandals. Soft comfortable leather with no pressure points or rough edges. Great quality construction and unique aesthetic, I would certainly recommend these sandals. These are my favorite compared to two pairs of tevas, some reef flip flops and rider sandals. They aren't the most comfortable, but they provide arch support and are much better suited for extended periods of standing and walking, so these are far more practical than normal sandals.

Great for everyday use: indoor or outdoor. These are my new favorites! One strap had different coloring than the others (factory second?) which made them not quite perfect. Other than that, they are amazing, comfy and nice-looking sandals!

This is my first pair of Birkenstock. I don't know why I waited so long to try them. This particular style is so cute and I bought them in silver. They go with everything thing I have for summer. It took me a few days of wearing them to get them broken in, but then I wore them for 3 days straight on vacation and my feet never hurt at all. I would highly recommend these shoes and urge you to buy the silver if they are available. I am planning to get another pair of these when I find them on a good sale on Amazon. These were on sale and then I had a 25.00 reward on my Amazon card so they they didn't cost me but $40. Love those reward points.

I waited to review this so I had time to break them in. Those first few days I was skeptical of the sandals that I hear so many high reviews of. Take the time to break them in!!!Being pregnant this summer, I needed a comfortable, supportive sandal that was cute too. I wish I had gone up a size since the lip on the front and back are right at my heel and toe line. So it took a bit to get used to them. Also with the normal prego swelling and a high foot bridge there were not enough holes to make the sandal wide enough - I had to do another hole to wear them comfortably. So maybe if there was WIDE I would have done a little better?Now after having them for a month or so, these are super comfortable! We have done some walking tours on our travels this summer - walking 5 hrs a day and I have been wearing these sandals almost daily. My feet aren’t overly fatigued and my back doesn’t hurt from flat sandals. I love the support.

Great shoes

Before you order these sandals, do yourself a favor and search “toe strap” in the reviews. You will find that many, many people have had the toe strap of these EXPENSIVE sandals break away from the footbed, sometimes within just a few months of purchasing the sandals. I purchased my Birkenstock Mayari sandals at a local shoe store because I had a gift card for the store. I wore the sandals often over a period of eight months before the toe strap broke on my right sandal. Maybe I’m crazy, but I expect $100 sandals to last longer than eight months. I bought an imitation sandal on Amazon, and they are going strong one year later. Do NOT expect the old Birkenstock “quality” in these sandals. Save $80 and buy some $20 imitations.

Sandal great but had to pay $50 custom fee at Canada Post. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the add or when the purchase was made.

J'ai pris ces chaussures en taille 40 en noir vernis, ma taille habituelle. Un chouia un peu grande mais je pense que le 39 aurait été trop juste. Elles tiennent très bien au pied et le fait que les brides soient réglables est super. J'avais peur que l'entredoigt soit gênant et bien pas du tout. Ces chaussures sont très confortables. Pas de désagréments pour les pieds contrairement à ce que je rencontre d'habitude avec des chaussures neuves.Je recommande et m'en achèterai d'autres dans d'autres couleurs.
