Bump proof locks are not available at our local hardware stores so this was perfect. It's very durable, easy to install and very pretty for a lock. We like the color and it fit perfectly. It's definitely worth the cost. We're purchasing the matching door knob also. I'd highly recommend this lock.We didn't receive the safety book listed in the description. Not sure why.

I usually don't write reviews, but I get nervous when a product has very few reviews, and I feel like purchasing is a gamble. So I'm hoping to counteract that for this item!These handles are BEAUTIFUL. We just flipped our guest bath, and the final step was to paint the door and swap the god awful gold knobs with something copper. These exceeded my expectations. They're well made, installation was simple, and they're very "smooth" functioning and quiet. I'm so excited to have these on every door in the house soon!

Well, the first famous-name electronic lock broke about 8 months ago and now the second. Took it apart and, sure enough, a plastic piece snapped. No more fancy locks just give me a standard one that works, with anti-bump. To have all my door locks the same I replaced all four doors with this Toledo lock. They arrived on time, each with 2 keys and keyed alike, as I requested. Took about 2-3 minutes per lock to replace the existing locks. Each works smoothly, easily, no hang-ups or rough spots on operation, and they look great! They fit the 'standard' door' holes that the old locks came out of, so nothing further needed to be done. Quick, easy, and secure. Thank you.

These products were well worth the money! I bought the Jaen locks based on the advertised promise of being bump and pick resistant. While I haven't had anyone try to break into my home (that I know of), I feel better thinking this product keeps my home safer. After installation and a few weeks use, I can say this is a well made product! My last door handle from a different company was not cheap, yet the locking mechanism was coming loose and the key sticking after only a few years (and it's not like I try to unlock my door in drunken stoopers for that to happen). This Jaen door handle feels very sturdy, and it was really easy to pop the handle off from the locking mechanism to switch the direction for a right vs left hinged door. I purchased two sets of locking door handles and two different types of deadbolts and all were very easy to install with the well written instructions.Since I purchased all four sets of locks together the company keyed them all the same for me, which conveniently prevents me from having to carry four keys for my home (because I wouldn't have paid a locksmith to rekey them the same). All the door handles and deadbolts I looked at in the home improvement stores were expensive compared to the quality and the color options were poor. I used to be partial to polished and brushed nickel, but immediately after installing the first set of black door handle and bolt, I became a huge fan of the darker color. I have brown doors, but the black would look great on any color door.Besides that, the customer service from this John Richard Enterprise was excellent. I didn't get my product in a timely manner, but that was USPS's fault and JRE responded promptly to my concerns about products with keys to my home being in transit limbo.

Works perfect, and makes me feel safer.

The quality is the utmost. The patina is just as beautiful as pictured. The instructions for installation is easy to understand even if this is the first lock you've ever installed. I had to use a lubricant to screw in the body nails and that was the only hiccup. I installed the set I purchased in my steel security door and now I feel safe in my home. I bought another set and I can't wait to receive them.

Am not a locksmith. Took more time to remove the old entry door lock set, than to install the new one. Installs easily. Finish look great. Feels robust. Liked the first one so much, bought a second one.Didn't need them to be keyed alike.

I bought this door lever to replace a 100 year old door latch that gave up on me. This new one looks great, works very smoothly and was easy to install. Couldn't ask for anything more.
