I purchased this to store about 450 rounds of ammunition, three extra magazines, a sidearm (at times), and a large set of ear protection, and a gun lock, and this ammo can hold it all with ease. It is easily accepts a padlock to keep it sealed (two at once if you really wanted) so the security of the case is only limited by the fact that the case is designed to be carried around easily. I can imagine that If I wanted to store the full 1000 rounds or more then I couldn't fit anything else but ammo but for my use this case is perfect. I found that the bullets fit the most securely if they are facing up, flat side on the bottom. That's using both standard range 115gr Luger and 124gr Hollow Point, so while it's not a negative you may find you prefer it that way too since it just feels more secure when the packs of 100 are full if you have them facing up. I've not had circumstance to see if the box is truly water resistant yet but the case does feel robust, like it'd take a good drop with only scratches to show for it. The latch holding the lid closed seems like a good design since there's two parts one has to lift up on before they can open the case. Negative: This case clearly says "9MM AMMO CASE" on the outside which is more obvious then I'd like. The side sticker easily comes off (pretty cleanly too) but the marking saying it's an ammo case is simply part of the physical box, and can only be covered up. IMO it looks somewhat tacky as well, the box is well-designed otherwise.

Durable enough for my needs. Large enough to fit the 10 x 100 round boxes and 10 of my mags in the can comfortably without jamming them in. Double latches is nice and dual rings to add locks should you choose. Overall I am pleased and have purchased more than one. For reloaders this is cheaper than buying the 10 flip top boxes in my area.

Good quality, but spare room inside so the cases can slide back and forth. But when stacking the cases they hook onto each other so they don’t all topple over in the box.

Solid build. 2 sturdy clasps that lock tight. Nice pivoting handle. It hold ten 100 Rd cases with a little room around the sides if you want want to toss a few small items
