I’m not a big reviewer so let that be my disclaimer here. I’m a nurse and do non critical hospital to hospital flight transports, generally for the VA, and we don’t have flight suits. So I wanted to get Some pants the would carry whatever I needed if things go south, which they can quickly. My first impression was how well they fit. I wear a medium across the board and these were dead on. They probably give a 30-34 inch waist adjustment, I liked that. The pockets are accessible, and the Velcro is quite strong. In the back of the thigh there is a large pocket that is semi difficult to open, and ANOTHER pocket INSIDE which is a little harder even, but things are definitely secure. I don’t understand the bottom Of them pants. That have little ribbon type ties. I would rather they flare slightly to fit over a she or boot better, but really that’s my only complaint. Pockets. Pockets, pockets, pockets. The pants are made of a stiff, durable feeling material and give the impression they would withstand a beating, but are surprisingly comfortable. So much so, I’ve worn them multiple times on my regular ER nursing shifts where I am constantly moving and lifting and are THOROUGHLY enjoying them for that. I thought they would be too warm but they seem to be surprisingly cool. I can’t justify buying another pair for work right now, especially when I really only use the two front thigh pockets. But those thighs pockets... They da best. Lastly, the back pockets. They snap on the side, and in the snapped position are fairly roomy back pockets. But unsnapped... I can fit 4 bottles of wine between the two. Or perhaps a baby in each one. Point is, they get very roomy. Molle straps are useless to me and on the other side they have a removable Velcro strap I believe is suppose to hold something long and slender in, but I took it out and put my scissors in there. $99 for pants is pricy in my opinion. When compared to Kitanica pants, which the only other thing I think these compare to, they are a really good value.

I've never spent a hundred bucks on a pair of pants in my life and I admit to some reluctance in doing so on these. But I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. The materials and workmanship are high quality, and the design is well thought out. I wore them around the farm for a few days doing chores and trying to find all the pockets. They came out of the washing machine still looking brand new. I thought I was ordering an OD green color, but the Kangaroo turned out to be a dark khaki or dark earth color, more brown than green, which was just as good to me. The knee pad pockets appear in the picture to be some kind of vinyl or rubber coated but mine are made of very heavy nylon canvas which may or may not be waterproof but certainly look very abrasion resistant. I intend to cut two kneepads out of an old military issue foam sleeping pad which will provide a moisture barrier. There are two front thigh pockets accessible through vertical heavy zippers but the slides should be reversed so that when closed, they will be at the bottom instead of the top. This will prevent any unintentional downward movement of the slides which could result in accidental opening and loss of pocket contents. I like the belt loops which are wide enough for me to wear a heavy West German duty belt. They will not accept a US issue pistol belt. The cuffs come with drawstring ties like BDU's but are just a little short for my legs. After some standing and kneeling, they work their way out of my boot tops which irritates me. I will probably sew some elastic stirrups on the cuffs like I did on my BDU's when I was on active duty to prevent this. All these points are minor, however. I very much like these pants and might order a second pair in a different color even though I don't believe I will ever wear this pair out. They would be excellent for police SWAT teams, paramedics, outdoorsmen, search and rescue or anyone who spends time in the outdoors.

I've been wearing tactical BDUs since I was in Jr high, so I have quite a bit of experience with this style of pants. I'm going to share with you my honest opinion based on my experience. Let's begin with the good points: The material construction is outstanding! Stitching is also top notch. These pants are rugged, and a bit on the heavy side, making them an ideal three-season pants. The ankle ties are great and secured really well. The hook-and-loop waist adjustments allow for a few inches of play. The belt loops are thick and sturdy, and a few of them have smaller loops stitched into the bottom which is perfect for securing gear via Carabiner without impeding the belt loop itself. These pants have thirteen pockets! Two in the front, two in the back, two on the calf, four on top of the thighs (two on each leg), and two divided pockets on the back of the leg. There is also a flashlight pocket located on the right hip that features a hook-and-loop flap. The leg pockets all feature hook-and-loop closures, with exception of two pockets on top of the thigh that have zipper closures. Most of the pockets are generous in size. The front hip pockets are reinforced toward the back corners to allow for clipping a knife to the pocket without worry about wearing out the material. The zipper pockets easily fit a smart phone, the calf pockets are large enough for a wallet or other equally size item. Each of the back pockets on the leg and butt can easily accommodate a 30-round mag. The knees are reinforced and have hook-and-loop pockets designed for knee pads. No issues with maneuverability. I can easily squat, crawl, kick, and high step over obstacles in these pants without restriction. Molle webbing on the left hip is incredibly handy! I can easily attach a pistol mag and a decent size pouch to my hip for additional cargo capacity. Now for the bad: The fly closure is a hook-and-loop flap, and while it works just fine, I'm a bit concerned about longevity as hook-and-loop will wear out over time. The back pockets are perhaps too deep. If I put my wallet in one of the back pockets and sit on it, it sits so low that its actually uncomfortable. The pockets on the back of the legs are also uncomfortable for sitting if you have anything other than soft items stored within. I'd much rather see these pockets moved more toward the side of the leg. The button closures on the side of the back pockets snag and unsnap every time I get into my vehicle, which is extremely frustrating. The front hip pockets are set horizontal making them shallower than what I am accustomed to, and items are a little more likely to fall out while sitting or crawling. The thickness of the material means these pants will retain a lot of body heat and can become uncomfortable during the Summer months. The flashlight pocket on the hip is a little too deep, and just narrow enough that trying to retrieve a shorter flashlight from it can be a real pain. I carry a 5.3 inch flashlight and it gets lost in this pocket. All those hook-and-loop closures mean you're not going to be a ninja in these pants. Summation: I really like these pants a lot! I'd dare say they are among the most versatile tactical pants I have ever owned. I love the top thigh pockets for when I'm driving because my wallet, phone, and other essential items I may need during travel are right there and easy to get to. As I mentioned, I'm not a fan of the snaps on the back pockets as they tend to snag while getting into my vehicle, so that needs a redesign. And the leg pockets on the back of the legs are a really odd placement. Despite those few flaws, I really like these pants and would recommend them to anyone looking for a rugged, versatile pair of tactical pants. I should also mention that I get a lot of complements on these pants.

Top quality pants. I am 5'10" 170 lbs and the small fit just about perfect. The quality of these pants isi better than expected! Have had four people in the last week ask where i got them.

These pants look great. Have a lot of useful pockets, and are very tough. However, mobility in these are absolutely terrible. The very best tactical pants typically have strategically placed stretch zones to allow for movement without comprising durability. These don’t have anything like that, which isn’t advertised. But i couldn’t even swing my leg over a four wheeler with these, crouching is painful. Maybe it’s just because of my height, I am 6’4 and these are a shorter inseam than I would typically buy. I recently bought a pair of UF PRO pants and I’m not going back to Chinese pants at this price point again. I like my Rothco. pants as a cheap option. These are a knockoff of the Kitanica Raiders by the way. I understand not everyone needs $200 pants but you get what you pay for even though these aren’t that cheap.

These pants are seriously heavy duty. I took a chance and dropped 100 bucks each on two pairs of them because they looked heavy duty. They also have pockets inside of pockets and pockets on top of pockets and even two pockets on the back of the calves. If there's anything that I have to say I don't like about them it is simply the fact that they do not have a button to fasten the waist, they use a velcro strap instead. I probably wouldn't have thought them if I had known this but after trying these things on, I already have two more pairs in my cart. I suspect they are even more durable than they look and feel but time will tell. They're also going to be hot because they're so heavy duty.

Excellent quality very heavy duty. Just wish the cargo pockets had a pass-through in the top for a pen. Also wish they would go on sale every now and then. But you will not be disappointed in the quality they are amazing.
