Beware that one of the connectors it was wrong but maybe an electrician. I made it work by splicing it to my connection. Other than that it works great. Battery charges great now. Easy fix

It does the job that it is expected to do and metered-out correctly; I hope it continues to do so.

Perfect fit replacement for my John Deere LA130 lawn mower’s voltage regulator. Electrical connections exact and easily swapped. Immediately solved my battery drain problem on first go. (Battery wood drain/not recharge during operation). Just hope it lasts, the price was 1/4 the OEM replacement part from Briggs and Stratton/ John Deere parts suppliers. Buy with confidence!

Has the wrong terminal for a D140 but has the correct technical specifications so I changed the terminal and it works perfectly. If you have the knowledge to change the terminal then this is a great option to save money from the OE part that is nearly $75 right now.

I was a little concerned about using a non-John Deere replacement part but it's a perfect looking match for the old voltage regulator and took less than five minutes to swap out. Hoping this does the trick in preventing battery discharge (on a replacement battery less than a year old). Started right up.

This should have come with a male and female terminals,I received one with 2 male terminals. I received a cheaper one than the one I ordered. I managed to modify it but should not have had to. Not good!

Will it work? Maybe. Mine did.The yellow lead does not come with the OEM retention hood. It does fit, and has so far performed as expected.I know this is quite a bit cheaper than the OEM part. I can’t speak to longevity, but given vibration and lack of locking hood I’d at least put a few wraps of tape on the yellow connection.
