Way better than I expected!
Way better than I expected. My main interest was getting something to reduce street noise in my bedroom. My windows are 8' high and span 10' and that is a lot of glass. I was very happy that these came in a wide width (100" per panel) since that makes managing them much easier. I bought three of them so that even when pulled across the windows they have a lot of folds in them which is supposed to help with noise reduction and that seems to be the case. Much quieter now. As for light blocking, I would say that they are 80-90%, but that is not a problem for me. I was reluctant to buy a beige curtain since my walls are a neutral beige color. But, one answer to a question said that they are about like coffee with lots of cream. And, that is exactly how I would describe them. They look great on the windows and are maybe a shade lighter than the wall. They had minor wrinkles in them and I used the method recommended in the instructions, but that had only a moderate effect on the few wrinkles that were in them. The real challenge is that a 100" wide panel that is 108" long and made of heavy material is a lot to put in a dryer and expect no wrinkles. So, I just hung them and in a few days they look great.

Great, effective blackout curtains
We were looking for blackout curtains to solve our light gap issues around our blackout honeycomb shades in our bedroom. These, combined with the Umbra Twilight curtain rods, really did the trick! There is a tiny bit of diffused light on the ceiling at the edges of the window but the bright light gaps around the shades are no longer remotely visible. We've experimented during the day with the shades being up and the curtains drawn, and they do a really good job of blocking the light (though they're not total blackout - you can still faintly see light through them). Light bleed around the outside is an inevitable issue if you don't have valances or wraparound curtain rods, and if the curtains don't hit the ground, but that's not the fault of the curtains. The navy color is a nice deep blue, and I like the subtle silkiness of the material. We had a minor issue in that we ordered two panels for our 180" wide window, but one panel was 2" longer than the other. However, as soon as I contacted the seller, they shipped out a new panel at no cost so I could make sure to have a matching pair. This resolved the issue and I really appreciated the prompt and helpful response!

I live in a downtown highrise off the east side of the great lakes. In the morning the sun reflects off ...
It filters out 99% of the light. I live in a downtown highrise off the east side of the great lakes. In the morning the sun reflects off the water and it illuminates my whole bedroom in the most unimaginable brilliance. Yes, my blinds are closed, if that makes a bit of difference! On days that I want to sleep in, it is impossible because of the unbelievable brightness. I got this curtain and it filtered out 99% of the light. But that 1% will still get ya! So I bought more and doubled them on top of each other. PROBLEM SOLVED. Also, the historical site building next to my highrise...the city decided to brag about it and illuminate all the walls of the building ALL NIGHT LONG. Ever since they have done that, the spotlight flare has reflected off my bedroom walls (despite the blinds being down) and I have not had a good night sleep since they decided to illuminate this building. For 2 years! UGH! Again...problem solved! First good nights sleep in 2 years!!!! What took me so long to get these curtains? I love them!!! And btw...it is a true biege. They look nice.

The Perfect Neutral Beige Extra-Wide Panel
Extremely satisified with these panels for an extra wide window. The fabric is a silky-type polyester and the wrinkles easily fell out when I placed them, one by one, in my dryer with a damp towel. The grommets are dark enough that they look great with an antique bronze rod. They are lightweight, but do the job for us in blocking the sun (it's a north-facing window, but the sunlight still manages to hit on the tv screen from time to time). There was a lot of static buildup in them, but I sprayed the back side with Static Guard and it took the static right out. It's hard to find grommet panels that are this wide and I had preferred pinch-pleated panels, but the price was astronomical for this big window. I'm glad I went with these panels. Overall, the quality is quite good and I think I got way more than I paid for and I think they will serve us well for a long time to come. By the way, the beige color is a very nice beige--not at all yellow and not at all grey. A perfect neutral.

Superb, but NOT blackout curtains
These curtains are attractive at a reasonable price. The material is soft, and they hang beautifully. I would suggest you order at least 75% extra over the width of the window. I ordered nearly double, but they hang very nicely, and don't seem to bunch up when they are opened. I haven't washed them, so I can't speak on that topic. I purchased the beige color, and they are a very light brown color, as opposed to a color with more yellow in it.But be warned: these curtains do let in some light. They are on my southern-exposed windows, and in the afternoon, they cut out nearly all the light. If you are old enough to remember film development dark rooms, which require total darkness, these curtains do not make it dark enough to develop film; but they cut out nearly all the light. They would be great unless the tiniest little bit of light would wake you up.Overall, I think it would be difficult for me to be more satisfied with my purchase. I love the weight, the feel, the look, and the hang of these curtains. I am happy enough with these that I'm ordering another set for my patio doors.
