These are great as I use them for my customer orders who have lost a loved one. I like to give a feather as a symbol of their Angel. They are clean and soft.

These feathers are so beautiful. On the website they look like they're black. But they say they're Gray. I need Gray feathers so I went on and bought them anyway. My mouth opened when I opened the package and took a feather out. They are so beautiful they look like satin. Truly a beautiful Feather. I'm making this comment. I bought these to make a set of wings for a cosplay. These feathers were very soft, sturdy, and they were a pretty decent size. I do recommend 👍

Purchased them for a Mardi Gras party

Feathers came in a sealed package with 2 inner sealed bags (pressed).Feather quality ranged from needing a little finger grooming (fixable) to unusable for my purposes. While I don't expect all feathers to be pristine, I don't like vane-bends and feathers that cannot be visually smoothed with my fingers to make a more aesthetic look for the type of art I used them for. If you are layering them to create a mask or construct, however, you may not be as picky as I am.In the picture, you can see the feathers straight out of the bag and the one I made into something.These are secondaries rather than primaries, so their size is smaller. Measured, the feather vanes extend to 5-6" with the quill extending another inch or so on the largest feather for the largest in the pack. The smaller one is 4-4.5".Overall, I can make use of these for general feather decoration, but they are not big enough for feather canvases unless I'm going for tiny designs. (That may be fine for some, but my bifocals argue that I'm not cut out for such shenanigans anymore.) Most of the feather vanes are rumpled in odd places where the barbules won't mesh together quite right. It makes for a more unstable surface that is touchy for painting.I do appreciate that they come in the natural grey colour rather than being dyed. The natural gradations of the undyed feather is beautifully subtle.
