WilTec 6T Industrial Hydraulic Workshop Frame Warehouse Press Garage Bench Press

I bought this to press out my Mazda 3 front wheel bearing. As previous reviewers have said, the press itself seems very sturdy, but the bottle jack supplied is of cheap quality, however, with heat and a big mallet the bearing eventually started to move and the press did the job fine. I may think about an upgraded jack in future. The adjustment on the table part could be more, there is quite a small gap between the two parts, and we had to improvise somewhat to fit the awkward shape of the bearing carrier, however the design is simple enough that 2 long bolts allowed us to do this and increase the distance to suit this job. For under £80, this is great value and saved me £200 labour fees on this one job, so I'd happily recommend to others.

Good piece of kit, couldnt have changed the bearings on my MGB axle without it. Must buy the bearing removal parts kit

It looks a lot sturdier in the flesh than in the pictures in the listing. I removed the front wheel bearing from my 11 year old Fiat 500 with it. The inner hub that was inside the bearing pressed out easily and smoothly. The larger main body of the bearing was more stubborn. I had placed one of the black metal plates included on top of the round spacer I was using to push the main bearing out and when it was at full pressure a tap of lump hammer on the plate was needed to get it moving, after that it was plain sailing. Installing the new bearing was child's play with it. The jack is removable and in theory could be replaced with a stronger jack but obviously this would be breaking all kinds of health and safety rules, terms and conditions. etc. etc.

Press appears to be Ok, but the bottle jack is as other reviewers have said is poor quality. The pressure release valve loosens itself during use, so you are using it and suddenly it's not doing anything even though you keep pumping the jack because it's started to release the pressure when you don't want it to!!. Also, the bottle jack lever does not properly fit the pressure release valve and you struggle to open and close the valve when you need to.

Sturdier than I had anticipated and also faster to use (for broaching) than I'd been led to believe.I had expected to do a little welding to brace the joints, and may still go back and do that, but it looks strong enough for the (alleged) 6T pump that's in there.Very basic but excellent value for the money.

Hydraulic press was leaking fluid. Box appeared to have been opened before as all plastic ties had been cut. Also one of the supporting pins was missing. To be fair I have been in touch with WilTec and they have promised to send a new jack and the missing pin

Great tool in a handy size. Have used it many times for pressing in and out bearings. Never had a problem with the hydraulic jack. And if it it were faulty I’d be happy to have payed this cheap price for the metal framing, and then getting a new jack to mount in it. It has helped me greatly! The mounting instructions barely helped, even if mounting is pretty simple. Looking at a photo of the press from the internet helped more than the included instructions. Great value for the money!
