Pimsleur Pimsleur Castilian Spanish 1

I bought this for a good friend of mine who is going to Spain and who will spend time with some of my Spanish friends (they speak only very, very limited English if at all). My friend has avoided learning any foreign language for years, says he hates it, says he has more important things to do with his time, says that everyone speaks English anyway, says he has a poor memory, etc. He is now actually doing this program a half hour a day. He can finally speak some limited Spanish with good pronunciation and confidence. And he still has several weeks to go before his trip. The only negative for the Castilian Spanish program is that levels II, III, and IV are not available as they are for Latin American Spanish. So he will, I guess, continue with Pimsleur Latin American Spanish when he returns from his trip to Spain. He has Mexican and Ecuadorian friends here in the US. who will be pleased that he continues his efforts with a Spanish closer to what they speak natively!

This program gives the person who is interested in trying to learn or improve their foreign language skills an easy yet consistent plan to learn and speak the language. Practice is essential for language learning so using what you have learned is important.
