Ebury Press Time Out London: Official Travel Guide the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (Travel Guides)

The book covers a wide range of places but there isn't a logical rationale for why some hotels covered and others not. If this is your first time to London, I'd buy the Rick Steves' version first. It is simple but the best. This is good but I expected more coverage of the Olympics and Diamond Jubilee. You pay for the color more than the insights. Still, it is nice to have a counter-opinion to Steves'.

I live in London and wanted a little guide to give my numerous visitors when out to visit. This looks very up to date, practical, informative and easy to carry around.

Wir haben den Führer vor der Olympia-Zeit verwendet. Auch für eine normale Londonreise ist der Führer wertvoll. Der einzige Nachteil ist das relativ hohe Gewicht des Buches. Besser wäre, wenn man denjenigen Teil, der sich auf die Olympischen Spiele bezieht, heraustrennen könnte.
