Such a treat

First of all I have to say this book is BEAUTIFUL!! Secondly I saw according to the reviews there was amendments to this book on some measurements etc. I checked those out and looked at each one and the only one that was needed to adjust in my book was page 68 where it said "Evenly trim down to " on the Construction part step one and it was only that sentence that should have been take out. the other amendments were already fixed in this book. As far as looking thru the book they are very easy to do and love that there is a more modern book and ideas for younger quilters like myself. You don't have to get their specific fabric either, you could use scraps or whatever you like. I love that the blocks all come out to the same size of 6.5 inches unfinished. I will be able to use alot of scraps and also alot of solids to do these blocks. I think I will start out doing all the blocks with scraps and think I MIGHT do it with solids for a different version as well. This will be so fun because on days I work full time I could easily do 1 block or maybe a few as I have the time after work. I have a lot of books otherwise but have not found one where I could see myself making all the blocks as I don't like them all. I can't wait to get started, I have already started getting some fabrics out to start working on them. I HIGHLY recommend this book to any quilter out there. Get this I promise you will not be sorry. One of the only things I would say negative is I wish I would have found this sooner. Its is very well written and easy to follow. I LOVE it.

Durch eine andere Produktempfehlung bin ich auf das Buch aufmerksam geworden. Das Buch ist trotz englischer Ausgabe so gearbeitet das die Quiltblöcke weitestgehend auch so nachgearbeitet werden können. Super Buch mit einer sehr großen Auswahl an Quiltblöcken und Anleitungen.
