However, in a nutshell:+ It's an excellent quality cable that works really well at 144Hz / 1440p.+ There are no issues with picture quality at all, despite the 10 metre length.- When I tested with a standard HDMI cable tester, pins 13, 14 and 19 were not showing as being connected. This may have been due to the fact that this is an optical cable with active plugs. However, pins 13, 14 and 19 are the ARC pins, so if you are planning to use this with ARC-enabled equipment, I suggest that you test it as soon as you get it. For the record, the listing states that this cable is perfectly compatible with ARC-enabled equipment (and I didn't have any to test it with) but I still suggest you test it as soon as you get it.All in all, assuming ARC works as described, it's a great cable for transmitting HDMI at a substantial distance.

This Fiberoptic HDMI cable has a good braid to the cable and the diameter of the cable is much thinner than a standard 10M HDMI cable which needs a lot of shielding to reach 10m distance. It is quite flexible although you have to be carful not to kink it as it would snap the glass strands and fail the cable. As this is a fibre optic cable you can only use it one way so make sure that it has the correct ports (source and output) at the correct ends.So much cheaper than the other fibre optic cable we have and worked well on our 4K TV which we link to the AVR on the other side of the room, as it primarily drives our projector. Outputted 4K with no issue although I did not check the eARK function as I don't have another source to the TV for it to output sound back to the AVR.All in all a great cable at a great price.

Appeared to work well enough on initial installation, but after a few days ceased to work at all. No signal, tested with different sources and display. Returned for refund (given without quibble).

I like the Amazon Basics range becase they deliver decent quality at a not too inflated price. They look pretty sleek if you're not one into shiny things. This no-frills cable comes neatly packaged and is a good replacement for an older, thicker, less capable cable as tech moves onwards. The only slight drawback with one of these is that they have a single direction, so be sure to check that before running and of course that means you can't then use it in the opposite way but if you know that going in you should be fine.

The Amazon Basics Fibre Optic 10m HDMI cable is a thin unidirectional HDMI cable for getting signals over a long (for hdmi) distance. The connectors on the cable are as a result of them converting electrical to optical signals, long (when mounted you need 5.5cm from the connector to the end of the strain relief)– and if your device is against the wall you may need an extra right angle adaptor to get them to sit flush. That warning aside it worked perfectly routing a signal from my Av amp in a cupboard to the projector on the ceiling. It happily sent 4k video to the projector; it is cheaper than my existing ethernet solution and doesn’t need any extra power sources to run. If you need a longer run HDMI cable (one way) and 10m is enough for your needs this is a great option. The connectors are robust, the cable is thin and easy to worm through ducting to get where you need them. Just bear in mind the connector length and the possibility you will need an adaptor if the fit is tight.

Stopped producing an age after a few weeks - Thought it might be voltage drop over 10m so tried a USB HDMI power add on, still no joy.Sent back for a refund. I could have just been unlucky.

Great quality cable, good plugs and mouldings and the braided covering stops tangles. This is cable is one direction only but it is clearly marked. No issues with signal or compatibility either.Great for a long run to a projector or suchlike. When I first got a projector about 15 years ago even an average quality cable this length was about four times the price at least so to get this for under twenty seems like a bargain

Un ancien câble hdmi, pourtant intitulé haut débit, me donnait un écran bleu sur mon téléviseur avec mon lecteur blu-ray 4k. Celui-ci a résolu le soucis !!! Nickel je recommande

Avevo bisogno di un cavo che duplicasse lo schermo del mio pc al salotto, questo cavo Amazon è stata la scelta migliore.Nessun ritardo nel segnale, nonostante sia lungo 10 metri, grazie alle fibre ottiche.Consigliato.

De momento funciona perfectamente, la señal clara y el sonido también. El cable es mas fino que el de cobre y pesa la mitad. Como curiosidad decir que a diferencia del de cobre se conecta en una dirección. Conectado del pc a la tv y se detectó inmediatamente identificando la tv sin problema y mandando una señal nítida y correcta. La distancia en mi caso es de 10 metros y ya tuve una vez un cable hdmi de cobre que daba problemas por la distancia, pero con esta de fibra es perfecta.

Ottima fattura. Lo uso su un proiettore e funziona bene.

Build quality is good.It does everything it is supposed to. I have it currently connected between my PC and a AVR. After some fiddeling it works flawlessly. I will adjust my review when anything changes.
