I do like to have metal tips on boot heels and toes: it saves them from wearing out so fast, and tehy do make a good noise when walking! These certainly fit the bill: I've used hammer-in tips before; screwing these in seems much more secure. We'll see how long they last: they did strike me as being on the small side, and a bit thin. But overall, if they save a trip to the cobblers, they will have more than covered their cost. The screws supplied with them were just right.

These are just rubbish quality the screw heads break off waste of money

Screws break, soft metal not treated, useless, do not buy. I really complain, but this !!!!
