I read that these were rated as most realistic and they are. Even relatively close up they look so realistic.

I was looking for artificial flowers that didn't scream "fake" like the silk ones at the craft shop do. I decided to try these, and they are pretty convincing! They won't fool anyone up close, but have a much more realistic sheen and texture than other types of faux tulips.These are made out of foam, and feel somewhat like real petals, although they are thicker than actual petals would be. The leaves are likewise foam. The stems can be cut if you need to make them shorter. The color is delicate and pretty, although these being foam I do wonder if they will yellow over time. The tulip heads are significantly smaller than average tulips that you grow in the garden, but are more akin to the small tulips you see in some supermarket bouquets.I love to brighten my space with flowers, so I with enjoy these throughout the spring and summer, hopefully for several years to come!

Since tulips don,t really have a "scent", these are a lovely addition to my Waterford vase in my dining room. The stems can bend so you can add some "dimension" to your arrangement! Great item for the $
