This is a nice sturdy waterproof mounting box that I am using to mount a security camera over the porch light receptacle. I needed to make sure it would be larger than the actual opening to fully cover it and to have the extra room in the box to put the power converter (110vac to 12vdc) and the excess cable from the camera. I like how sturdy this is and I have no doubts about it being able to support the weight of the security camera even using small screws; the box is thick enough to get a good strong grip.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Moderate size with plenty of holes for wire connections.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Box is easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. Just be sure you have the right drill bits to make holes where you need 'em.

Good product just wish they were a bit thicker.

The "knock outs" are difficult to remove - requiring the hole saw use.
