SOMMERLAND 3/4" Aluminum Garden Hose Quick Connector Value Pack (4Male+2Female+10Washer)

At my time of purchase the set of 2 pairs were listed as brass and of high quality. I have bought them before. But the packet of 6 male and 2 female connectors are aluminum. I didn't catch this in the product description until they arrived. Too much chance for poor performance. Returning them. I will purchase additional brass ones. The brass versions have always worked well, except for the plunger in the female part on one of my connectors. The plunger is supposed to cut off flow when not connected to the male end as well. The plunger has fallen out. I am also getting two Sommerland shut-off valves for the end of my hoses to allow for cleaner connect/disconnect (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXI4BHE/).

Product is difficult to connect, especially with water pressure applied. Interior gasket wore out in a matter of a few short months with just light use. Had to purchase a replacement.

Great buy for preventing that annoying twisting and turning of your garden hose while trying to connect to something.
