Absolutely amazing tool!
As a "jack of all trades" This has unlimited uses. Nice big screen vs the the type that plugs into your phone. Cable stiffness is perfect, not too flexible and not too stiff. I found a bent valve in my buddy's atv without tearing it apart, I've found clogs in drains and eliminated the guessing game of where the clog is, I used the hook attachment to get keys out of a locked car. Very easy to operate and high quality picture. This is a must have for my tool collection. Useful for mechanics, plumbers, locksmiths, hvac and anything in between. I even found a mouse nest in my wall with it! Highly recommend this camera!

Stiff cable, but works
It works ok,the stiff cable can be hard to maneuver in tight places. But overall it works.

Very happy!!
I had a pluming job for a friend that was giving her a real problem. was able to see everything in the drain pipe to know what was going on. Works very well and easy to use! You can't beat the price.

Worked great for ceiling work
Worked great to help my husband find the leak in our faulted ceiling. He found the leak and patched it up before any major damage. Now I want to use it for fishing on the boat!

I worked for what I needed it for
I used this taped to a 79" drain snake with a claw and was able to remove a dead rodent from my HVAC duct, which saved me from needing to replace the duct itself. Connecting a treble hook to this alone just didn't cut the mustard...

As useful as I hoped it would be.
First of all…for the money ($29 when I bought it) it looked like a great deal. Waterproof, long cord, came with its own screen, rechargeable. I was willing to take the chance of it being junk. But…When I got it I put it into service immediately and it worked actually BETTER than I had thought it would. I was doing a plumbing job where I had to look under flooring and down into wall spaces to see where a leak was. There is a bit of a learning curve to get used to maneuvering the camera through tight spaces and trying to move it around but it did the job I needed it to do for sure. I have not tested the ‘waterproof” claim. So far I have not had to use it in water…but I know I will. If I do I’ll update this.Picture quality is not iPhone quality picture. But it does the job. lights were bright enough and can be controlled to some degree (10%, 25%, 50%,100%).Brightness, Contrast etc can all be basically controlled in “steps” like that. not a gradual “dial’. There is a magnification button with about 3 steps (up to 2x I think). It was marginally useful.Cord was stiff enough to shape and hold but pliable enough to maneuver. The fixed, unchangeable focus depth is probably sharpest in the 2 to 3 inch range but back to about 6 inches it is still not bad. If you get RIGHT ON TOP of something where the lens is almost touching it…it’s out of focus. you have to pull backIf you point it across the room you unbox it in…it will look blurry. But getting close up on something it comes into focus very close up.After the plumbing job I used it to fix my car. Getting this thing up in behind the engine to see how to undo certain clips, or where bolts were…looking into the intakes to see if there was any debris left in there…down into thespark plug holes to check out the cylinders….This is one of those things you didn’t know how much you needed til you get it if you do a lot of odd jobs. like a laser level. I got to say….This thing was WELL WORTH IT!There’s probably better camera quality out there and maybe more bells and whistles. For instance, you can “flip” the picture “up” or “down” but if you want any finer adjustments you have to physically twist the cord. There’s probably ones that you can “rotate” the picture but I just suggest marking on the camera end with tape where the usual “up” position of the camera is and then at least you have something to orient it “upright" as you insert it so you kind of get your bearings. But…I didn’t find that to be a deal killer at all. So far I have used it dozens of times and it has not been disappointing. I would buy it again in a heart beat.
