The elastic runs tight so I recommend going a size up. The cup holder is small too. I use a large cup from the same company and it takes a bit of finagling to insert it fully into the sleeve. Some of the stitching has started to rip as a result. I don't get why an XL belt would have trouble fitting a large cup and there's no size up to go from there. But overall it has held up, is comfortable, and I prefer it over compression shorts with velcro, or needing two different garments for your cup and garter hooks.

I play a lot of ice hockey. I had been using a Warrior Ice Hockey Girdle, shell and various brands of compression shorts. I get very hot wearing all this. I read the reviews of this Shock Doctor Jock/Garter and decided to give it a try. I have only had it about a week, but love it. It takes some skill to fasten the garter straps to my socks, but I am getting better at it... I found it is easier to fasten the back ones first then the front. I don't seem to get as hot, and it fits very nice... no movement, and it almost feels like you aren't wearing anything... the breeze on your butt feels nice. Yesterday I ordered two more. I don't think I'll ever go back to my compression shorts.
