Acer ICONIA B1-790-K017 7-Inch Tablet - (Black) (MediaTek Cortex A53 MT8163, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB eMMC, Android 6.0)

I’ve had my eyes on a 7” tablet for a while now. I love the form factor, and It seems like an excellent larger companion to my 4.7” phone, while still being smaller and lighter than my 8” tablet. I was very excited to finally receive this item (after the first one I got was just a poorly taped together, and painfully empty box). However… Sadly, it seems all manufacturers have agreed that anyone wanting a 7” tablet cannot possibly be wanting to do anything even remotely serious with it. I guess today's fashion dictates everything must be massively large to be taken seriously. The paltry innards will eventually open most things, just don’t expect them to do so willingly or with any kind of sense of urgency. My 3 year old phone is still several times faster. Everything is painfully slow on this tablet. That is, everything except draining the battery, which is done with surprising expediency, even when plugged in. This is unfortunately reversely matched by the extravagant sluggishness with which it charges. I really wanted to like this device, but the inefficiency just made it too painful to use. I have sold it on, and ordered the more expensive 7” Xiaomi Mi Max 3 instead. It has a slightly smaller screen, but will probably do what I need it to do much more competently.This will probably be fine if you just want something for your kids to watch movies on while travelling or something, but anything more serious than that is likely to cause quite a bit of frustration.

Was at a bargain price for 49 pounds each so I bought 2 as a gift ,beautiful and sleek back design,quality of image is good and bright ,internet is good ,I can't fault there .(I had open and check them before giving them away because I sent them abroad ).

Got that device to use for web surfing watching movies and read books. From the beginning device was so slow and stucking on every single web page. Just impossible to use. So as return time was passed and there was no chance to return the money tablet was left in drawer for few years. Absolutely didn't expect that from Acer tablet as that's kind of good brands.

I needed something cheap and cheerful with the correct operating system to activate my Echo, which I received as a birthday gift. Did the job, lovely jubbly. Thank you.

Good day, the tablet Acer iconia one 7, which i bought 28thJune 2019 is working very bad.Apart from a little crack in the screen, the software is working from beginning not exactly.Often is stops and the tablet react not to screen touches.What is the best thing to do?I use the tablet for work and want it to work very quickly.Thank you!Peggy Weissflog

One of the worst tablets I've ever bought everything is wrong with it this is ok for a child to play with ,I ended up buying Samsung tab a 10.1 2019 amazing .
