What a delight is this yarn! It is thin, but not fingering thin, at all. The best size of crochet hook is 3.5 mm but it can handle a 3mm-4mm hooks, too. It is very loosely spun, needles can split it easily, so choose a deeper throat crochet hook to avoid the annoyance. For this reason, this is not for beginners, but for more advanced yarn artists this yarn can be a delight to both work with and wear the finished work.The quantity for the money is great! I've crocheted a pullover with 3/4 sleeve, using a 3.5mm hook, using just a little bit more than 5 skeins. My finished pullover feels unexpectedly velvety for the touch, and has beautiful drape.Why is the star deduction? Some skeins, not all, but more than one, had frequently knotted parts - sometimes as frequent as every 2 feet. After ordering 2 bags, I went ahead and ordered more right away. I recommend this yarn for all who likes their finished projects look and feel of a higher quality.

Very splitty and slippery but knits a lovey drape at DK weight

This bamboo yarn will make a lovely, cool garment. The skeins are small, but normal for bamboo yarn. I am happy with the purchase.

I am currently creating a very soft and beautiful cardigan...thanks to this lovely yarn. While there was a little bit of a learning curve...( it does split apart some). I found it not difficult at all to crochet. Definitely will buy again, especially with all the beautiful color options. And it was reasonabley priced.

Very soft, and shiny yarn. Lighter than expected. I'd say its a weight 1 yarn, I was expecting a 3 or 4. I got about 20 wraps per inch around a knitting needle. It knits up slinky and soft. As the other reviews say, its not got alot of twist and is really easy to split, but feels so nice and soft I can forgive that. Its so silky, I doubt socks made from it would stay on. But I now have a very cuddly, light sweater that just feels so luxurious.

Love the color and softness. However, I can't decide what to make. Possibly, a summer sweater.

The yarn is very beautiful, soft and smooth. Suitable for knitting summer wears. However, yarn is thin and slippery on the needles, so will not recommend for beginner knitters

It is soft yarn, thread is smaller than the look in the picture, suitable using hook 3 mm. During my work, thread tend to split (separate) if not hook properly, May not be suitable for beginners.

I love the feel of the yarn and the ease of working with it. The problem is that 4 balls so far have had strings of yarn tied together (see pic).It looks like they just tied in more yarn to make up the ball weight. This creates problems because it means cutting your yarn in the middle of a project & having to join in thread again. I have never encountered this problem before. Disappointing.

Superbe couleur et qualité

This yarn is very soft and easy to work with for intermediate crocheters. The metres/yards are many as well at 210m/230yd per 50g/1.3oz skein. I am in the middle of my project so can't say how far one skein goes yet but it's looking good so far making the cost a good bargain.Just can not say enough about the quality; love it!I am very happy with this yarn and will buy again.
