Works great but the wheels get lose as you roll. I used it after we built our home and collected several nails from the yard. The magnet is strong but you'll need to tighten the wheels. Easy to use and doesn't take much space in my close.

I just had my roof replaced and there were nails everywhere. Knowing that I would only need to use this once, I opted for the cheaper model and it turns out to work really well. Sure, its magnet isn't as strong as a bigger model so it can't pick up any nails that are hidden deep in the dirt, rocks, or grass, but for the price it's done a good job. I suppose you can always upgrade it by sticking some neodymium magnets on it. The wheels are small so it struggles on a push stroke over patchy grass or big gravels, but a pull stroke works just fine for those. This is a great tool for the average home owner.

This worked great once I took the wheels back off. It needs to be lower to the ground in order for it to work, but it works great without the wheels. The only con is having to use your bare hands to remove all of the shards of metal, staples, and nails left from construction of my home. I wish there were a way to demagnify it while it was over a garbage can so that everything would just fall off without having to touch it. I guess that's another invention for another time, but for now, this is pretty good.

I think it is a good product, especially considering the low cost. The handle could be a little longer. I have used larger sweepers, with more features, to get up nails in a half-acre parking lot. This item would not be a good choice for a job of that size. That said, I think it works fine for smaller jobs around the house. I used it after a small roofing repair to get up roofing nails and metal shavings. It worked well for that purpose. I did not want my lawnmower turning that stuff into projectiles that could injure someone or damage my lawnmower.

I would have absolutely given this 5 stars except that the product came used. I originally filed for a refund but decided to try it anyway since we have a 100 year old house and when we replaced the fence, 75 year old nails and other metals started popping up through the ground. I couldn’t risk more nails in my tires and I found that the product itself worked well. I’m just extremely disappointed that it came used. The first photo on the porch shows half of the nails that I was able to pick up in about 2 hours. Product = 5 stars, company negative one star.

Used to clear our gravel driveway of potential hazards after a roofing job. It picked up stray screws and bits of metal roof cutoffs like a champ at 95% on the first pass.

Easy to put together and has a strong magnetic surface. I really like the release feature as well.
