I bought TP-Link 2K 3MP Outdoor Pan/Tilt | Security Wi-Fi Camera, IP65 in February 2024, Sold By: Appario Retail Private Ltd. My reviews are based on the continuous usage of this security camera thoroughly at my home for 7 months till now. Pros. DETECTION 1. Both motion and person detection. 2. Customizable detection zones. 3. Increase or decrease the sensitivity of motion detection. TRACKING 1. Both motion and person tracking. 2. Costumizable tracking zones. 3. 'On' or 'Off' the tracking mode. PATROLLING 1. 360° non-stop patrolling. 2. Costumizable patrolling zones. 3. Costumizable patrolling schedules. PAN/TILT Adjustable DEGREES the camera will move per tap of pan/tilt. ALARM 1. 'On' or 'Off' the ALARM mode. 2. Alarm for camera TAMPERING or OBSTRUCTION. 3. Adjustable sensitivity for alarm mode. NIGHT VISION 3 different mode; Infrared mode, full colour mode, smart mode (switch from infrared to full colour mode when detect any activity). VIDEO/DISPLAY 1. Customizable video quality; 2K, 1080P, 720P (data-saving) and 360P (smallest data rate). 2. Customizable PRIVACY zones. 3. Option for INVERTIBLE image. RECORDING 1. Customizable recording schedules; continuous recording, detection recording. 2. Sound recording. 3. Cloud (subscription) and SD card recording option. NOTIFICATION 1. For motion/person/tampering. 2. Customizable schedule for notifications. 3. Notification with snapshot (subscription). SPOTLIGHT facility. TWO-WAY audio facility. LED light. VOICE CALL mode. ALEXA & GOOGLE HOME connectivity. REEBOOT & AUTO REEBOOT facility. UPDATE & AUTO UPDATE facility. Cons. So far, there are no major drawbacks with this camera, just a few minor issues. After prolonged live streaming, the camera may occasionally stop streaming live, although it continues recording in the background. Once you reboot the camera, the live streaming resumes. Another minor issue I've encountered is with the camera's rotation. When there's movement directly beneath it, the camera sometimes fails to fully track and rotate to follow the object as needed. However, this is a small issue, and overall, the camera's features are excellent.

One week review. CCTV with 512GB card (got it for around ~7900) Pros: Clarity is very excellent. I am using only 720p . 2K will use up more memory. I am satisfied with 720 Easy to install. Need Power and Wifi. Called UC for installation because drilling is required. No Ethernet option Motion person detection works very well Playback and download works as expected Night vision is good Cons: Would be nice if the camera can automatically select from multiple wifi IDs based on the strength ( just like our mobile) Slight lag sometimes in the video and playback (manageable) When multiple movements are detected same time, camera gets confused whom to follow Overall Great buy and impressed by the video quality and features in this price range

This product has been a waste of money for me. Have bought for my parents and it worked for 3 months only. After that troubleshooting didnt help. TP link offers 2 years warranty. And mine is valid till September 2027. But there is no way to claim warranty. They mention email or call. Neither Email ID is given not calling number is given. Amazon also does not offer any help. Its robo chat is unable to even place a call or advise further and am stuck with this device. Dont buy this as there is no after sales support and warranty claim is just an illusion as u wont know how to claim it.

Debo decir que he probado 3 marcas diferentes con sus respectivas aplicaciones, y esta camara de tapo es sin duda la mejor camara, en calidad y funciones, y la mejor app para su control. La verdad es que me he pasado meses comparando app's, yo queria una camara que me permitiera vigilar mas de una zona, y esta al rotar 360°, lo cumple, y hace que me ahorre comprar 2 camaras para 2 zonas, porque esta sola lo cubre. En calidad de imagen, he reducido la calidad a 1080, y aun asi se ve de lujo, de esta manera me trabaja con menos consumo de wifi. La distancia llega a ver todo, pero con bastante detalle hasta unos 40 metros. Por lo que se refiere a la app, hablare de las funciones gratuitas que no requieren suscripcion, tapo te permite tener hasta 32 camaras vinculadas al mismo sistema, ademas, tiene 3 tipo de alarma, una cuando detecta movimiento, otra para detectar personas, y otra si detecta manipulacion de la camara. Se pueden activar las 3 simultaniamente y graduar la sensibilidad segun la zona, para evitar saltos. Cuando se activa, te envia una notificacion la app. Tambien tiene diferentes niveles de grabacion, yo queria una app que me permitiera grabar 24/7, de esta manera, tengo un mejor control de todo lo que pasa. Con una tarjeta SD (no incluida) se guarda todo, llevo una semana y la capacidad ni se me ha movido, no ocupa casi nada. Tiene varias funciones mas, como marcar zonas de privacidad, si quieres que algo no lo grabe, dispone tambien te marcar zonas donde no quieras que salte la alarma, por ejemplo, yo he marcado la zona de una lampara del jardin, que cuando hace viento, se mueve, y me hacia saltar el aviso de la app, de esta manera ya no me lo detecta. Tambien tiene la opcion de patrullaje horizontal y vertical, que la camara sola gira en ambos lados. Dispone de luz incorporada, que de noche hace que se vea al detalle todo. El modo noche infrarojo es brutal, se ve hasta con mejor detalle que con la luz. Tambien te permite crear zonas de vigilancia predeterminadas, y cuando quieras, cuando le des, la camara buscara la zona que tu hayad guardado previamente. Tambirn dispone de la opcion de seguimiento del movimiento, si detecta alguien, la camara lo seguira hasta que lo pierda de vista. Hay mas cosas, aunque todo lo explicado es gratuito con la app. Voy a comprar un par mas de este modelo, y me estoy pensando en pagar la suscripcion, que es de 4,99 euros al mes.
