Great tasting tea that also provides the extra boost needed in the morning to get the day started! The only thing is the price is steeper than most teas I enjoy. Has kind of an earthy green taste, which goes well on its own or with honey. It also goes well mixed with Guyusa and Purple Holy Basil for agood blended tea.

Excellent American natural tea with history; and one pound is a goodly amount too!With an slightly earthy makeup and taste, my wIfe and I both agree it makes hot tea better than iced, and hot also seems to give a caffeine level that borders on coffee levels as I get the same level of caffeine affects. Will order again when gone.

I find the tea very nice. The flavor is pleasant and mild and different from the fragrance in the bag. Seems to get about the same caffeine lift as a cup of regular black tea. I've found that you can let it steep for a long time if you want a stronger flavor without adding bitterness that can happen with regular black/green tea. The tea is quite finely ground so you need a steeping system that has good filtration or it can clump up preventing the water from surrounding the leaves, so leave a lot of room in the steeper. You may need to swish it a bit. I would prefer it to be a bit larger in leaf.

It’s a real eye opener. Not too too strong and no jitters. Great pick me up anytime during your day. Tastes good. Lite kind of leafy herbal taste to it.

Very tasty and with a caffeine content that won’t make you jittery like coffee. Yaupon is an ancient drink in eastern North America so it has historical significance too.

The taste is exquisite!

My husband loves this tea. Actually, that applies to the several ASI variants in our pantry -- this is the only one available in bulk at this point, and I'm sure he hopes the other will follow. Great product!
