I bought this for my daughter’s 7th birthday, and it was hands-down the favorite gift of the day. Honestly, I was expecting one of those flimsy arcade toys that breaks after five minutes, but this one is surprisingly sturdy! The unicorn theme is adorable, and the colors are really vibrant. What I love most is that you can actually use the "prizes" it comes with, or you can open the back and fill it with your own small treats like fun-sized candy or little erasers. It’s actually a bit of a challenge to grab the items, which is great because it keeps the kids engaged instead of them winning every single time in two seconds. It really teaches them a bit of patience and hand-eye coordination! It comes with a USB cable, so you don’t have to burn through batteries, though you can use them if you want to take it on the go. The music and lights make it feel like a real mini arcade right in our living room. If you’re looking for a "wow" gift that isn't just another doll or board game, this is definitely it!

Such a Fun Gift! My Kids Haven’t Stopped Playing With It I bought the Skirfy Claw Machine for Kids (Unicorn Edition) because my kids are obsessed with arcade claw machines, and I thought it would be a cute way to bring that fun home without constantly feeding quarters into a real one. We’ve had it for about two weeks, and it’s honestly been a hit. What I loved: Perfect kid-friendly height. It’s about the size of a small tabletop machine — tall enough for kids to play comfortably, but compact enough to sit on a dresser, table, or playroom shelf without taking over the space. Super easy to set up. I put it together in just a few minutes no complicated steps. It’s surprisingly sturdy. My toddler has been very “hands-on” with it, and it’s held up great. The unicorn theme is adorable. The bright colors and little toys make it feel magical. The claw actually works. I was worried it would be too weak, but it grips the toys way better than I expected. Perfect for playdates. The music and lights make it extra exciting, and it kept the kids entertained longer than I expected. What I didn’t love: The music is a bit loud, but thankfully there’s a volume setting lifesaver. Overall,. It’s fun, cute, and keeps the kids busy without me having to hover. Definitely a great gift idea and worth the money.

This claw machine on its own is a cute gift! However, I did decide to customize it to my child's taste. I did separately purchase a set of 2 inch squishmallows to be prizes and they fit perfectly! The prizes that come along with the machine are great as a starter,but they do seem to be a little cheap with seams coming lose on the stuffed prizes. The lights and sounds are really cool and make it feel like the real thing. The size of the machine is smaller but it has sat adorably on my child's dresser which is just the right height to play comfortably. My only design issue would be the functionality of the coin catcher. While it does collect the coins, they spill immediately upon opening to retrieve. This has caused some to become lost. Overall, it's a fun purchase and everyone wanted to play with it during the birthday party, which says alot considering it was a roller skating party!

I looked at a lot of mini crane machines and a lot of have 3 different levers for controls. This one has a great design with a joystick and button to drop the crane to simulate claw machines you see in arcades. When it works, it's great. The downsides: It's a little on the small side making it hard to have a decent amount of toys in the prize area. I had the same issue as reviewer "dancerknits" with the chain getting binded up. This can be undone as noted by their update but it is annoying. The power cord it comes with is short and they don't note what exactly the size of the power plug, so getting a longer cord is kind of a guessing game. If you did want to get a longer power cord, it might be better to get one with a few different adapters ends. A week after my refund window closed, the claw stopped moving side to side, making it so it is unusable. For the price point I'd hope for better durability. I did get maybe 1 - 2 hours of fun play out of it but one expect it to last longer before becoming completely broken. I really wanted to like this machine. I did a lot of looking and it did seem like it'd be the most fun but also, it should be avoided. Ultimately it has poor functionality after a few uses and had poor durability.

Out of the 3 we’ve purchased this 1 is definitely outperforming & outshining the other 2 that broke within a week or 2. Prior to buying I made sure this was NOT 1 with the “arm” that moves the claw. Those kept getting stuck, rarely grabbed anything & the chains broke on both. This 1 is really fun, plugs in (came w/ cord), sound can be turned off & the lights are a really nice touch. It also seems much bigger than many of the ones with the “arm”. Inside of it seems bigger & the claw goes front/back/left/right with a button to send the claw. The only thing I’m a bit disappointed about is the sliding door to refill. It could easily break if not level & pushing it back in. Otherwise we are extremely pleased. We purchased it for our 8 yr old daughter who has autism & she absolutely loves it. Also, love that it came with toys to fill the machine & coins to use which activate each play. Price was about the same or less than the ones that broke & it’s nice that it’s something she allows us to engage in fun with her with & presents opportunities to learn & work on other skills like hand/eye coordination.
