I was looking to replace some existing lights which are ...
I was looking to replace some existing lights which are sunk into some patio raised beds, and have rusted away. The spec' for these lights says they are 'marine grade' - the manufacturers details confirm that the bezel is in fact stainless steel grade 316 - top quality. Fitting the lights is a little fiddly, as you need to set the body shell at exactly the right height to ensure that you are able together the correct seal to maintain the IP rating, and also that the fitting does not protrude above the deck level. If you are considering setting these into a concreted base for a path/driveway you'll need to be confident of getting the height correct. Finally, if you're fitting LED GU10 lamps, you'll need to make sure you get the correct length of lamp. Some LED's have a significantly longer body than the standard halogen GU10's, and these will not fit in this fitting.
