Your dog collar will work with as many zones as you have problem areas.How it WorksPlace the Barrier Transmitter near the area your pet should avoid. The Pet Barrier transmits an elliptical radio signal adjustable up to 5 feet. Your pet wears a Receiver Collar with Contact Points that touch his neck. When your pet enters the Barrier Area, he’ll hear a series of audible tones from the Receiver Collar and he will feel a safe Progressive Static Correction, delivered through the Contact Points on his neck. The Progressive Static Correction will get his attention, but will not cause harm. The correction continues until your pet leaves the Barrier Area. If your pet doesn’t leave, the collar will continue to correct at the maximum level from 3 seconds until the 15 second time-out.Training your PetsMost pets will learn quickly to avoid the Barrier Area on their own. However, your pet will pick up on the new boundaries even quicker with a few short training sessions. You can attach a long leash to your pet’s regular collar while she is also wearing the Receiver Collar. The two of you walk towards the Barrier Area. Once you hear the tones and your pet receives the safe static correction, gently pull her leash away from the off-limits area. Reward your pet with praise each time she leaves. WIRELESS DESIGN:The product does not need cables, the sensitivity and accuracy of a cover division range are controlled digitally.

Excellent Product!
We have tried everything with our dog to train him to stay off our table, and nothing worked (trainer camp, trainer to the house, crating, leashing...). Out of desperation we tried this, and IT WORKS! Our concern was that when we aren't looking he gets up there, so we knew that a traditional owner activated shock collar wouldn't work. This is always on, and he learned immediately to stay away from the table. This saved our sanity. We have a 12 lb dog and the collar fits well and the transmitter isn't too large or heavy for him. I tested the "shock" on myself before putting the collar on the dog and while unpleasant, it isn't awful and once it stops sending the signal there is no discomfort.

After 1 month of use the receiver no longer works ...
After 1 month of use the receiver no longer works and constantly beeps my dog is so scared she pees hersef and hides in the corner. I will be returning this item.

It wasn't a bad investment, but I won't buy another
Very low vibration for a 75lb dog. I wish there was a weight limit stated. The directions are also a little hard to follow along. It wasn't a bad investment, but I won't buy another.

Did not work
Did not work. We even went out and bought a new battery thinking that was the issue.It beeps, buzzes for 5 seconds and stops. My cat walked right out.

I bought two and they Worked great for a couple weeks then completely quit working
I bought two and they Worked great for a couple weeks then completely quit working. Changed batteries in both receiver and collars and worked like maybe once more then stopped working again. Waste of money.

Probably works well, but I couldn’t figure it out even after reading the directions multiple times. No technical support available that I could find on this product. There’s simpler products out there that, in my opinion, are more worth your money.

Too Harsh
Do not use this on a small dog. After trying it on my own arm i found it was a huge shock. It was not a gentle reminder. Inwoukd never use this on my dog.
