Forest Grant Carrie Reading Glasses Strength 1.5

These are good reading glasses, clear lenses,stylish design and they seem well made. However, they are not for me. Here's why: the frames themselves are about 12.75cm wide (5in.) with the arms at their widest point (internal measurement), roughly the same, 12.75cm. For me, that means they squeeze my head slightly as there is very little give in the arms. After about 30 minutes of use, they begin to give me a headache. But that said, they are still good quality and value, they will be a good spare reading specs to keep in the car. I've included a couple of photos below to give you an idea of what I am talking about. The Carrie reading glasses are at the bottom of the first photo and inside the other specs in the second. Both pairs of specs are Foster Grant.

I usually purchase reading glasses at the end of my grocery shopping and end up with boring looking glasses which are not particularly cheap. These are good looking glasses at about half the price I would usually pay.

The glasses themselves are pretty enough and seem to be well made. The arms have no spring in them and the glasses are quite narrow across the face, so they dug into the side of my head and I found them quite uncomfortable to wear for any length of time. I'm sure they are fine for a young person but not for an adult.

Nice quality glasses with decent lenses but returned as narrower than they look and quite tight, which makes them look a bit dated now that spec shapes are getting bigger again.

Fairly comfortable a little tight round the ears but look great.

Just received these glasses, put them on and WOW, what a difference. The lenses are so clear compared to my last ones (cheapies but not Forster Grant). The design is lovely, nothing like as brightly coloured as the photo, very comfortable too. So good I have just bought another pair!!
