I use it before any other facial product I use.

This one's a no from me, unfortunately. Tried it a few days, and thought it might be responsible for some breakouts, so I stopped. Then came back, read some reviews and reconsidered, and it happened again. Not sure what's causing the irritation, but I don't need further evidence.

I always get nervous with new products that my skin is going to feel greasy, but I never felt that way with this product. It layered on seamlessly with the rest of my products, and overall had no issues with this and my sensitive skin.

This essence is great and lives up to its claims. However, while I love this essence itself, I'm not fond of its packaging. Whenever I pour it, there's always some dripping to the side, which can be quite inconvenient and messy.The essence has a light, pleasant scent that fades away quickly. It applies smoothly and is rapidly absorbed by my skin without leaving any stickiness behind. I've followed the directions to apply it as the first step after using toner, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin's hydration compared to when I skip this step. It also gives my skin a nice glow and appears more plump.I also noticed that I can simplify my skincare routine when I use it. On those lazy days, all I need is a toner pad, this serum, and a cream and my skin remains wonderfully hydrated throughout the day and overnight.Overall, the essence is great and I love it, but I wish for more user-friendly packaging.

I've never tried any of Beverly Hills MD's products before, but I'm glad that I had the chance to because I'm impressed with this Moisture Lock Botanical Essence! That's saying a lot because I get to try a lot of other anti-aging products and rarely try one that achieves the visible results that this one does. This is a lightweight thin lotion that you apply after washing your face that helps lock in your skin's natural moisture and enhance the effectiveness of serums and moisturizers that you apply after this. They say to use about a quarter's size of the serum, but it spready so easily that a pea sized amount was all I needed. It only takes a couple of drops from the bottle to get that much, so this 74 ml bottle should last me quite a while (making the price a good value). It only takes a few moments to absorb completely, and then I apply my normal moisturizer over it, and I can see a difference nearly immediately. I can feel the skin of my face tightening a bit, and I can see it looking fuller - full enough that the smile lines around my mouth and the vertical lines between my eyebrows are much less noticeable. I chalked that off to having a good night's sleep beforehand on the first day, but then I noticed the same thing the following day after using the serum again, so I realized it was the serum. The improvement is clear to see every time I use this before moisturizer and foundation, so I'm sold on it now. There is a light pleasant fragrance to this serum which I quite like, but that may be a drawback to some if they're sensitive to fragrances in their products. Honestly, this is one of the best skincare products that I've been fortunate to get to try. Once this bottle is gone I'll be buying more!

Light scent with actual results

Like what others have stated about dispensing from the bottle. What works is keeping upside down and after a nice shower. It will dispense in blots. I do see hydration under the eyes. Overall it’s okay.

I have mild rosacea and my skin is very sensitive, a lot of products can flare it up but this product didn’t, it’s non-irritating and gentle. I’m 43 and have fairly good skin because I take care of it but it’s aging and I have some fine lines, particularly around the eyes and on my forehead, and my cheeks have some uneven texture.This essence is great, I noticed a difference after a few days of using it. It’s a good consistency that absorbs easily without leaving a sticky or greasy feel. It’s lightweight and hydrating; my face appears smoother, more plump, and refreshed. It looks more youthful and has a subtle glow. Although I use vitamin C and other skincare, this essence contributed to the results I experienced.The bottle’s dispenser isn’t that good because it’s hard to get the product out. The directions state to use a quarter-sized amount and pat it into the skin and that’s sufficient enough but I can get away with less. The amount of product in the bottle should last a while.It has a good botanical scent that’s not strong or bothersome.I like it and would order it again. Keep in mind that what works for me may not work for you, everyone’s skin is different.
