Skin Tite - Silicone Appliance Builder and Adhesive for Skin F/X - 8 Ounce Unit

Was recommended to me for use with silicone elf-ear prosthetics, and that recommendation was not amiss—it works wonderfully! When cured it stays in place really well until you purposely peel it off. I even tested it once, showering and sleeping in my elf ears. It truly is waterproof, and showering was no issue. After sleeping on them the ears were still on solidly enough, but some of the edges were peeling away, as expected. Overall, I'm very satisfied with its performance. Just be sure you have an adequate working space to mix and apply the product in a timely manner, as it cures very quickly in the heat. I usually end up mixing a small batch for each ear individually to make sure it doesn't cure too fast; your results may vary due to climate. I've also found it indispensable to have a few paper towels on hand for quick clean up. Complete removal of the residue on skin can be annoying; if not fully removed it leaves a tacky sort of feeling like really heavy sunscreen. I'm still trying to find the best removal methods, having tried both makeup remover and soap & water—it seems like my results can be totally arbitrary with each use and I generally end up using both. Aside from slightly extensive prep & removal (at least when you're impatient, lol) this works really well, is fast, and is easy to use.

The item actually does the job I need it to do just fine and for the price was a deal! But my only issue was the packaging, both bottles was slightly loose so some of the A & B got out into the bag, thankfully not much was gone from the bottles but I did spend money on this so please take it to consideration for the next shipment if by me or anyone else please check the bottle caps. Idk if it was just one bad shipment.

Take it from someone who recently developed a latex allergy: this stuff is magical AND safe. I used it on my face (even on my eyebrows!) and it just peels right off with soap and water later. Caveats: as the old saying goes nothing sticks to silicon but silicon, so if you want the best painting experience, best to buy Smooth-On's silicon pigment set to put in some base color. It also cures incredibly fast on skin, so you'll need to work quickly.

The glue in both bottles spilled in the package. The lids were not secure.

I used it to glue on these plastic ears. Pro easy instructions, no odor, firm hold but easy to remove. No cons.

While the product is great, the bottles both leaked in shipping and both the bottles and instructions are covered in semi-cured skin tite that is almost impossible to remove. Not much product was lost, just enough to be an extreme hassle to handle.
