I bowl 2-3 times a week so it's necessary to carry around a bowling shammy to wipe oil off my bowling balls after every throw. I bought these as a replacement to my shammy that I left behind one night at league. They do a great job getting the oil off my ball. I hold it in my palm and then use my other hand to spin the ball, and wipe any spots I miss. It helps to keep the oil from soaking into the ball, and more importantly keeping the dirt and grime from soaking into the all and clogging the pores.

For fans of bowling, these towels are revolutionary! After using this leather for a week, I noticed that it improves grip and accuracy by efficiently removing dust and absorbing oil. Really grabs the ball at first. Wipes up oil very well. I like the smaller size as it fits my pockets instead of dropping it on the ball return to get lost.

Removes everything that's grit and wipes the oil extremely well. The surface grips the ball surface so well that it sometimes holds tight enough to pull the ball from a one had grip. That makes it harder to clean around the finger holes. After each wipe, there was a strike or a spare (very unusual). Since it's stiffer than a towel, it doesn't slip into a pocket. After bowling it's really good to remove the oil from today's games And today's score is credited to this shammy

Wipes oil clean

At first I thought I would not like these chamoises (sorry, I can't spell it shammy, even if these don't come from a goat) because they seem small. Boy was I wrong. The size and shape fit perfectly in your palm, and make cleaning the balls a breeze. The chamois grips the surface of the ball much more tightly than a microfiber (or other fabric) cloth. It is super absorbent, and wipes away oil and grime in one stroke. And they are very comfortable to use. In addition to their being three pads, each pad is two-sided, so it's like having six pads. I haven't tried washing them yet to see how that works out, but will update this review when I do so.Overall, I highly recommend these pads.
