I bought this for a boudoir shoot, and I can also wear it over a dress for a night on the town. I actually thought it was going to be a silver chain, but its gold; not a deal breaker just not what I was expecting. It lays really nicely and comes down to the bottom of my torso. I am 5'2",34DD and it completely covered my girls and hung nicely down my body. Really flattering. Medium to lightweight and comfortable on. One of my favorite chest pieces, and my husbands too. He lit up like it was christmas morning. Really beautiful, shipped quickly and well packaged.
